Hi Everyone, I'm back with a new app update which comes with a few bug fixes, new reporting features and general optimizations. - On the Home & Videos screens, you can now filter by promotions AAA and Evolve. If you have a request for other companies let me know! - Articles and Videos now display company badges for more clarity of what company it’s about. - On the Podcast screen, you can now tap the “Report” button. I’ll get a nice email notifying me so I can review. - When you search for a podcast, if no podcast is found you can now report it as missing. I’ll get an email as well so I can review. - When watching a video you can now rotate your phone and enjoy it in landscape mode! - On the Bookmarks screen, I fixed a bug when removing a Bookmark from your list didn’t refresh the screen properly. - On the Home screen, I fixed a bug where sometimes the second page showed the first page again. - I received a review mentioning the Reader mode wasn’t working. I fixed a bug where when starting the app the Reader Mode and Show Spoilers settings weren’t defaulting to On. Sorry about that! - On the Podcasts screen, I made sure to only download 3 episodes maximum. Hopefully this will avoid trying to download too much at the same time. - Under the More tab, I’ve fixed a bug causing the “Review App” button not to work. I also fixed a bug that caused opening Support or Terms of Service to not work. - For your User Account, I’ve renamed the “Name” field to “Display Name” since I want it to be clear you can enter any name that speaks to you. - The app’s file size got a little smaller thanks to some optimizations I made in this update. Hello everyone! I am back with a new update for The Daily Smark. First off, I have rebuilt the entire app from the ground up. This allowed me to remove older libraries, clean up the core logic, and lay a much stronger foundation for future features. My goal has been to improve stability and a faster, smoother experience. The design has been refreshed to bring in elements from our website. The News tab now features a **Hero Article** at the top, giving the biggest story of the moment the spotlight it deserves. Both the **News** and **Video** tabs have a streamlined Company filter. I've reduced the number of taps needed to filter by your favorite promotion. No more bottom sheets to wait for you can just tap and go. The **Podcasts** tab has been revamped. You can now toggle between **Episodes** and **Shows**, giving each its own full-screen view. No more swiping left and right to find your podcast. Finally, you can now create a free **User Account**. Setting up an Account lets you sync your Bookmarks, Podcast subscriptions, and Settings across all your devices. If you had existing data saved in the previous versions, don't worry. Your existing Bookmarks, Podcasts, and Settings will be automatically linked to your new account when you sign up. I want to let you know that **Accounts are not required** to use The Daily Smark. You can still read the news, watch videos, and view upcoming live events without one. An account is only needed if you want to save Bookmarks or subscribe to a Podcast. Those need to sync remotely so you'll need an account. And that is it for this update. I hope everyone enjoys all of the new changes. Hello everyone! I am back with an update with some significant bug fixes and updates. Let's get to it and talk about the helpful changes you're about to get when you tap the download. Let's set the stage here. I was in my car listening to podcast episodes from The A Show and WRESTHINGS. I noticed every time I put the app into the background, and then the podcast stopped playing! I hate that because what if I want to multi-task? So I've put in a fix for this to make sure you can still hear your podcast while jumping across your other favorite apps. Another day, I went to the More tab and tapped on "Review App." Instead of taking you to the app store to review our app, it brought up the share menu. After a grueling 5 minutes, I was able to fix this problem! Finally, I sat down to watch the latest RAW or Dynamite match on the Videos tab. It always opens up a full YouTube page from within the in-app Safari browser. It's not terrible, but I can do better, I'm sure. Your favorite wrestling video now opens within the app using the native Apple player in this new update. We even support Picture-in-Picture, so you can watch that match while browsing other apps! That's all I have for you, but I think these helpful updates will make our wrestling app so much better.
