Poltys DCare™ Ex is the wireless application used to handle alarms by caregivers using mobile devices.
Poltys Direct Care Connect™ (DCC) Ex is a wireless nurse call alert and personal emergency response system for the entire range of eldercare and senior living. The Direct Care Connect™ (DCC) Ex server is required for Poltys DCare™ Ex to operate.
The application assists healthcare organizations managing their communication more efficiently, enabling continuous wireless connectivity between nurses, caregivers, coordination desks, and residents.
DCC helps ensure resident’s care by quick actions to alarm responses even during the busiest intervals, assuring higher quality of healthcare services and resident’s satisfaction
The caregiver connects using a Employee PIN defined in Direct Care Connect™ (DCC) Ex settings and selects an escalation set (location zone) that serves on that day.
Voice announcements and text alarms are received by caregiver.
Text alarms are simultaneously displayed and played back by caregiver mobile device.
Caregiver may accept or callback a predefined phone number by tapping specific buttons on the mobile device.
Once the alarm was cleared at the resident place the Caregiver can close it after the resident request was handled or it can further require assist from Employees with other competences (Nurses, Doctors, Maintenance, etc.)
