With the Groups functionality within Slinger, it is now possible to offer ride-sharing in a closed environment between colleagues, teammates, and other types of group members.

This update gives you clearer control over your privacy: when you open the app you can choose whether to allow analytics to help us improve Slinger, and you can change this anytime in Account → Privacy. Drivers can set a price per seat when offering a ride. We’ve also improved stability and refined several screens for a smoother experience.

We’ve made registration and login more user-friendly by introducing passwordless login and Google sign-in. The account area has also been expanded with new options for managing your profile, vehicle, and waiting lists.

Ride-sharing within your own organization is now available in the app. Slinger makes commuting together easier and more enjoyable.

From now on, you can not only easily share expenses with your fellow riders, but also check your balance directly in the app.

You can now complete your profile even further by adding your date of birth.

When an event has multiple possible final destinations, you can now select your preferred endpoint when creating your ride.
