News
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The Virgin Islands Consortium brings you reporting from the U.S. Virgin Islands and the wider Caribbean. Follow news, government, business, community affairs, culture and more in a refreshed reader built for iPhone and iPad.
• Follow the newsroom’s featured stories and latest reporting.
• Browse sections or search for a story.
• Read articles with photos, clear typography and familiar VIC advertising.
• Open the existing article discussion inside the app, then return to your story.
• Share stories using your device’s sharing options.
• Return to recently opened stories when your connection drops.
• Choose news notifications selected by the VIC newsroom. Tapping a notification opens its story.
• Adjust reading size through your device’s accessibility settings.
Reading articles and existing comments does not require a VIC account. Contributing to discussions uses the website’s existing sign-in options. News notifications follow your device’s permission settings. Optional usage insights are off by default and can be changed in the app’s Settings.
Founded in 2014, The Virgin Islands Consortium covers the stories that shape life in the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean.
Featured story photos now stay bright, with shading confined to the headline area at the bottom. This corrects the full-image dark overlay while keeping the new Libre headlines and centered titles.
