More accurate font names and weights. - Weights are now shown correctly when a site uses copies of a typeface whose files lost their weight names. Styles that appeared as Regular 2, Regular 4 or Regular 5 now read Medium, SemiBold or Bold. - Fonts that some websites declare in an unusual way are recognized again, with a link to their page. - Screenshots now credit the foundry that made a font, not the store that sold it. - Fonts that a website has renamed, for example a typeface served under the name Helvetica, are shown under their real name when our catalogue knows the exact file.

Faster on busy sites, a toolbar click that is never lost, and cleaner font names. - Sites that declare many font files for alphabets or styles they never display are analysed much faster. The extension now only reads the files the page actually uses. - Clicking the toolbar icon while a page is still loading now shows a small badge right away, and the panel opens as soon as the page is ready. The click is no longer lost. - Clicking a font as soon as the list appears now opens its page once the font is identified, instead of doing nothing. - Font names are cleaner. Trial and redistribution labels added to some files no longer appear in front of the real name, optical sizes such as Head or Display are shown as part of the family name, and names whose words were run together are spaced again. - The dash between a font name and its weight is always readable, even with fonts that draw it as a watermark.

Fixes for how fonts are named and grouped, and for sites where the panel stayed hidden. - The panel now opens on sites that hide custom elements they do not recognise. It was analysing the page correctly but staying invisible. - Fonts repackaged under another name are recognised again. Two files of the same family no longer show up as two unrelated entries under their repackager's name. - A grouped family keeps its italics labelled as italics.

Fonts Ninja 9 is a full rewrite. - Font identification is faster and more accurate on every site. - The panel is new: clearer results, fewer clicks to try, bookmark or get a font. - Variable fonts are recognised and shown with their axes. - Fonts loaded but unused on a page are listed separately. - Bookmarks and your library sync faster. - Many fixes to font detection on sites that load their fonts late.
