Decibel Display app is only a viewer, it works with Decibel Desktop which is an audio Plug-in (VST3, AAX, AU) and standalone app (Mac, Windows) that can be broadcast to any smartphone or tablet device using this app. It is a modular multi-meter on which you can design the preset you want including color, size, shape, choosing between several VU Meter, LUFS Meters, RMS Meter, Spectrum Analyser, Phase-scope and so on.
Connected to my Decibel plugin in Reaper instantly.
App and support are of no use

The app goes with the desktop version. The desktop version is below average as level reference apps go. Very flashy but actually full of issues that can lead to some serious miscalculations in the long run. The remote app does simply not work 95 percent of the time, even with static ip’s. Used several different iPad pros. Support is of no help either. They don’t seem to have the technical understanding for run of the mill support plus I have never experienced such rude arrogance before. Don’t mind being a paying beta tester but at least treat people nicely. I would not recommend this app or this company if you are a music professional.

The 192.168.x.x ip displayed in the app shows a usb icon next to it, and the WiFi icon shows the cellular ip. The app just isn’t reading the network interfaces correctly and refuses to connect. Works fine in android.
- Fixed surround meters showing channels in the wrong order.
- Fixed occasional stuck peaks and a wrongly-scaled display in the spectrum analyzer.
- Fixed the plugin window not restoring its size and position correctly when using multiple monitors.
- Fixed layout problems on mobile after the device wakes from sleep.
- Various stability and display fixes across the meters and phase scope.
