The main features of this app are to let you import Photos and Videos from the main Library to mark them with hashtags for fast searching and encode videos using HEVC to reduce file size keeping the best quality possible.
Instead of the conventional way of searching through scrolling and creating albums, “Life memories” lets you use key words to tag memories and then, while searching for a memory, exactly pinpoint the desired Photos or Videos. The tags can be typed in or, be fancy, tap the microphone button to dictate (the app uses speech recognition to enter tags into the search field).
In addition, there are a few other features why this app could be your favorite when it comes to memory management. The app stores automatically generated and manually entered information about the memory:
- Date and, possibly, location.
- Story (your version of what happened).
- Search tags.
- Rating (this number will be used to pin memories to the top).
