With this application you can set up and control Shelly Smart Home devices. The application can connect to the Shelly Cloud via a Shelly user account. All existing functions, however, can also be used completely without an internet connection. If you are in the local network, the devices communicate directly. Outside the local network, this is done via a Shelly user account. Updates can be easily distributed to the Shelly devices via smartphone. For this, they don't even need an internet connection. This is a private project and will be developed and improved by me as much as possible. Since I don't own all Shelly devices, some are not supported here. I am very happy about constructive feedback and suggestions.

Shelly Home is awesome

I have to admit that I have a strong preference for this application over the Shelly app it originated from. The incredibly fast start-up time is an absolute delight, enabling me to activate my device within a matter of seconds. On the rare occasion when I faced an issue with a new device not appearing, I reached out to Dirk for assistance, and he promptly resolved the problem in just a few minutes. If you haven't had the chance to explore this app yet, I highly recommend giving it a shot. Trust me, it's pretty amazing.

T-dang it
This is the most user -unfriendly app I’ve ever seen. It is full of bugs. Honestly I’m baffled. I spent 3 hours and finally got a switch added…. I think… I see it sometimes in the app and I can turn it on and off but it gets confused and thinks it’s off when it’s still on. Furthermore, when I log into the cloud service online, it doesn’t find my device, even though I logged into my account on the app and made sure my device is allowed on the cloud by logging into the device directly via IP and “allowing cloud access”. Alexa cannot find the switch even though I see it connected to my router. I purchased a bunch of these thinking they were going to be great, but the software doesn’t work so they are worthless.I’m not sure what these other reviews are talking about. I can’t imagine this app could possibly be any improvement over anything.

was able to add device here - but not on Shelly’s. Super happy. As a bonus, it then did show up (maybe that should not have been a surprise) in Shelly’s app.I give it 5 stars for that reason alone. That said, there is some room for improvement on the dashboard editing

Spent over an trying to configure devices via the official Shelly app. Frustrated and ready to return it I stumbled upon this app and it was setup and working in under 5min. Shelly needs to hire this guy.
