Soundwave — Short audio cha‪t‬ 17+

This app comes at a very important time and delivers something we really need right now, the ability to plan and organize our actions together without needing to know everyone involved in advance. In these times of social distancing and isolation I was very pleasantly surprised to see how many people are driven by the initiative to help out our older folks who may not be able to just go out shopping for groceries as easily as some of us.
The app makes it very easy to organize things like that. It’s very simple and intuitive to use which is one of the things I really like about it. It allows to connect to other people’s ideas without any superfluous screens. You see events one at a time and just swipe away those you’re not interested in.

There is no reason to feel alone right now if you have Whater. There are all sorts of groups to join to discuss ideas, share resources or just laugh together.

One of my favorite parts is that you can add giffs to your idea/group which is a great avenue for a little humor right now. And it’s not about dating, it’s about supporting each other and making new friends - surprisingly possible online.

It’s pretty critical for us to have a resource like this to feel better connected during this time of isolation and uncertainty. So check it out and I’ll see you in the Whater 🏄🏻‍♀️.

For a long time I’ve been looking for a way to meet new people around me. I’ve tried several apps and local meetup clubs to no avail. Whater is the first thing I’ve found that seems to be exactly what I’m looking for. It makes connecting with others casual, easy, and organic. If you’re like me this is seriously worth a try. Excited to see this thing grow in my area.
