Lyrical is a simple songwriting app for capturing a song while the idea is still fresh. Type a line, see what rhymes, hum the tune over it and keep everything for that song in one place. No studio, no clutter, no learning curve. WRITE SONG LYRICS • A clean lyrics editor built for songs • Arrange your lyrics into verses, choruses, bridges and hooks • See the syllable count for every line so your phrasing stays tight FIND RHYMES AS YOU TYPE • Rhyme suggestions appear while you write • Near rhymes, synonyms and related words when the obvious one won't do • A built-in rhyming dictionary and thesaurus for when you're stuck ADD CHORDS AND HEAR THEM • Add chords to any section of your song • Tap a chord to hear how it sounds • Browse chord progressions for ideas when you need a starting point RECORD AND LAYER MELODIES • Record a melody the moment it comes to you, like a voice memo that lives with your lyrics • Layer a harmony or a beat over a melody and play them together • Link each recording to the part of the song it belongs to STAY ORGANISED • Tag songs by theme, genre or mood and search them in seconds • Export your lyrics and chords Pop, rap, rock, country or R&B. First song or hundredth. When the next idea comes, Lyrical is ready to catch it. Great app, but the send feature doesn’t work.

So I basically signed in and wrote a song to see how good it is. It has a very simple interface and you can change the title of the song, too. The only minor problem is that when I press the send button, it just goes back to the home screen that shows your songs. Can this be fixed? Other than that, it’s very useful!

Thank you so much for your lovely review! Based on some testing, I believe this might be an issue with tablets - will definitely add a fix for this in the next update. If you have any further issues, please don't hesitate to contact us at lyrical@blossomlabs.io.

This app is very helpful in composing and formatting lyrics. but while i was in the middle of using the app, it signed me out. having recently downloaded the app, i was familiar with my sign in information. but of course, it didn’t recognize any trace of my account, and it completely failed at mailing me a password reset under several accounts. i’m very disappointed that all my songs are now gone forever. if you download the app, you absolutely must save your work to other platforms, such as your notes app. this way, if the app malfunctions, your songs are not completely discarded.

I like this app and I enjoy using it but the in most apps after you click the delete button it will ask you if you are sure and then you essentially have to click delete twice. This app doesn’t have that option and because the delete button is right next to the check mark it is easy to click on accident. I deleted two of my choruses this way, by clicking it on accident.

It's been a while, but Lyrical finally has the redesign it deserves, with a fresh new look plus chords you can hear, melody layers and rhymes and syllable counts as you write.
