I don't usually write reviews, but I was shocked at how much hate this game was getting. Of course it’s a rip off of Archero, so what? There’s a ton of copy cat games out there and they’re all pretty fun. Archers Adventure is by far the best, but I try them all. Each new “rip off” makes some improvements and adds some new elements. Tales Rush is unique in that they replace the ranged arrow attack with a melee sword strike. You gotta get up close and personal. Nice challenge, good game. If you like Archero type games this is one you should try.
Most of the game doesn’t work

The parts that do have been fun enough so far, but most areas of the game crash or freeze instead of working as intended. This is especially prominent with watching ads. Almost every time an ad is watched the game will either freeze or crash. This doesn’t happen during the play throughs so far as I’ve experienced but trying to claim free items / claim energy / even the “Feedback” button on iOS will freeze the game if you try to use it and won’t let you do anything until you close the app and reopen it, at which point surprise surprise, you now have the same ad to watch again, which will again give you nothing, because as soon as the ad finishes playing and you try to close it it will freeze the game again. The actual gameplay is enjoyable, but it needs a LOT of work and polishing done before it’s worth considering over similar games.
January 2020 Update

Your most recent “update” has made the game increasingly difficult and pretty unpleasant to play. Here’s why: 1. Monsters damage and health seems to have tripled in the endless mode. Either that, or you’ve nerfed the hero’s damage to the point that an early death is inevitable. 2. I have worked hard to build my character (and paid) so that I can continue to progress in the game, but this update has made it so that I can’t even progress past the second world in endless mode. Before the update, last night even, I was able to get to stage 240 and beyond. Mind you that I’ve worked hard to build my character to this point. C. This game even replaced Archero as my favorite iOS game, but if these insane buffs to enemies and/or nerfs to the heroes are a permanent addition to the game, then I’m gonna have to part ways with Tales Rush.
Game was great until they adjusted something

Why did you adjust the damage done by my hero’s? This game used to be fun! So much so that I showed my appreciation by purchasing items to support the developers. However in a recent adjustment or patch they made to the game it has been nothing but frustrating to play. I don’t understand why you changed an already great game. I feel super weak now and I have higher gear items then I did when I felt strong. What did I work towards??? I feel as though I have been punished for progressing through this game. Also the most expensive hero is by far the weakest don’t bother picking her up as she dies quicker than any of the other characters. Please revert whatever changes you made and make this game good again!
