Get Shifts is the app for care and healthcare staff working through a Get Shifts agency. Find and book shifts, clock in and out, submit timesheets and keep your documents up to date — all from your phone.
Key features:
• Live shift updates: New, changed and cancelled shifts appear instantly — no refreshing. Open shifts show the moment your agency posts them, with a live count on the Open tab.
• Pick up open shifts: See every open shift you can work, request it in one tap and get notified as soon as it's confirmed.
• Your week at a glance: Day, week and month views of your shifts. Add booked shifts to your phone's calendar.
• Every detail before you go: Date, times, break, location and pay for each shift. View the location on a map or get directions in Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze or Citymapper.
• Accurate clock-in and clock-out: Clock in by location or by scanning your workplace's QR code. Reminders before your shift ends, and again if you forget to clock out.
• Timesheets, sorted: Track hours, approvals and pay for every shift. Add notes, voice notes and expenses, and collect supervisor signatures in the app.
• Track your earnings: See what you have earned, what is pending and what has been paid.
• Stay compliant: Upload your documents and see what is valid, expiring or needs updating, with reminders before anything expires.
• Work when it suits you: Set your availability for each day of the week, or for specific dates, and mark the days you can't work.
• Shift swaps and cancellations: Can't make a shift? Ask a colleague to swap, or cancel where your agency allows it.
• Report an incident: Report what happened on a shift by text, photo or voice note — it goes straight to your agency.
• Chat with your agency: Message your office in real time, including voice messages and photos.
• Works with poor signal: Clock-ins, timesheets and reports made without signal are saved and sent automatically when you are back online.
• Multiple agencies: Registered with more than one agency? Switch between them in the app.
• Secure: Protect the app with a PIN or Face ID.
