The Continuing Care App targets individuals with substance use disorders who have recently completed outpatient substance abuse treatment and are at elevated risk of relapse. The app provides recovery support information that is easily accessible, continuously available, comprehensive, and private. App content focuses on enhancing substance abuse recovery management and reducing involvement in risky behaviors by meeting the unique community resource and personal support needs of substance abusers. The app has great potential to reduce health disparities among substance abusers by facilitating continued access to treatment and support services. At this time, access to this app is limited to study participants of the Continuing Care Study.
