To start your ride:
* Download the hop app.
* Create an account.
* Find the closest hop on the map.
* Scan the QR code.
* Kick the scooter with one foot. Once you’ve gained some speed, you can push on the throttle to accelerate and start enjoying your city.
* If you want to slow down, gently use the brake.
Let's finish the ride
* After your ride has finished, park the scooter in designated parking spots without blocking pedestrians and access routes.
* Lower the kickstand to avoid the scooter from falling over and lock it.
* Take a photo of the parked hop.
Safety first
For your and city residents’ safety, you must follow these rules!
- One person per scooter.
- You should wear a helmet.
- Highly recommended to wear reflective gear at night.
- Do not ride while intoxicated
- Do not ride on pavements
- You should ride slower in the downhills.

These scooters are awesome! WAY better than Martı. Solidly built, fast, and always works. Sometimes the accelerator gets stuck, so be aware of this.
Great scooters but CAN’T PAY THE BILL

We did a 71 minute fun ride and have spent DAYS trying to pay the bill. 3 credit cards entered, 2 accounts on 2 different phones on the HOP! app. Can’t get anyone to answer the English line to resolve this issue. Not worth it in the end, sadly. We would have liked to have rented the scooters more than once, but couldn’t.

We got 2 scooters and not 30 seconds after mine stopped working and just started beeping for being out of the territory. My wife’s continued to work and even when we walked them back to where we picked them up mine was still beeping and told me I may be charged 30 euros (the map showed I was not in an off limits zone). Will never use again.
