Das Modul 2020 von EAP ist ein I/O System bestehend aus einem Basismodul mit LCD, 4 Tasten und Mikro-SD Kartenslot, welches bis zu 15 Erweiterungsmodule (max. 248 I/O´s) steuern kann.
Dieses I/O System ist die konsequente Weiterentwicklung der zentralen und dezentralen Feldbusgeräte. Ebenso wie die Feldbusgeräte wird dieses System zum Aufbau verteilter Systeme (Feldbussysteme) in der Industrie, Gebäudetechnik und HLK verwendet.
