Great App For Group Outings

My least favorite part about going out with a group of people (especially a large group) is splitting the bill at the end. Splitting the bill evenly is unfair to those who order less than those who ordered more. And itemizing a lengthy bill is always a hassle.Cuculi completely eliminates those problems by being able to order directly through the app and add only the things YOU ordered to YOUR own separate bill. We went out with a large group and had no issues with the bill at the end which made the entire experience even more enjoyable because there were no awkward discussions about money.

Be aware that if you cancel for a table within 3 hours, you will be charged $10. Cuculi does not mention this $10 fee. Update: Cuculi is saying in their reply that they make this $10 fee clear, but this is a lie. They say a ‘small fee’ and when I told their customer service they should specify it is $10 fee, they refused. Now they are trying to paint me as a liar, despite me making it clear what I was unhappy with. Such unprofessional behaviour.Oh, and if you add an item to your basket, Cuculi will automatically purchase it for you without telling you ahead of time. I’ve told their customer service this, and they weren’t interested in feedback. Update: Cuculi does not show a checkout screen showing all of items before you purchase them. After I wrote this review, they emailed me to offer $5 and say that they were “working on adding this feature.” Let’s see if they actually add it.

We're sorry to hear about your experience, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things.Cuculi's late cancellation fee applies to cancellations made within 3 hours of a table's start time. This policy is clearly disclosed before joining a table and again when canceling, helping protect restaurants and fellow guests from last-minute cancellations.Adding items to your basket does not automatically place an order or trigger a charge. Orders are only submitted when you select "Order Now," which includes all items in your basket. In this particular case, a refund was requested for food that had already been ordered, prepared, served, and consumed. Since the restaurant fulfilled the order as submitted, we were unable to issue a refund. We encourage guests to raise any concerns with restaurant staff while on-site, so they have an opportunity to resolve them before the food is consumed.Cuculi's mission is to bring people together, helping friendships form, grow, and last, while supporting the local restaurants that make these connections possible. We value feedback and are already working on making the ordering process even clearer. Our goal is always to create a fair, welcoming experience for everyone around the table.Thank you for being part of the Cuculi community😊— The Cuculi Team

I’ve been going to Cuculi events for four years and have made so many friends, some of whom have become my closest friends. I’ve made countless memories. The app makes it so easy to sign up for events, host events and pay for your food. I’ve watched several friendships develop, several couples who have met and ended up in long-term relationships, or even gotten married. In a time where meeting people in person can be somewhat complicated, Cuculi makes it so easy to connect with new people from so many different backgrounds and enjoy bites, drinks, laughs and adventures. I cannot recommend this app enough!

This app does exactly what it claims to do; it streamlines the process of a night out of food and drinks so more of the focus can be on having fun and building bonds. My favorite feature is the ability to order individually from the app rather than ordering as an entire party. No more worrying about your order getting lost or mixed up, it’s all easily catalogued through Cuculi. Oh and splitting the bill? Easier than ever bc you pay for your own order right there in the app as well. Super cool, looking forward to see how it evolves over time

Bug fixes and performance improvements. Minor UI improvements. General optimizations for a better user experience.
