Great app - not worth paying

I have been using this app since 2021. I actively open the app and earn sats back every day for walking and running. I walk and run a combined 17k+ steps a day. I never considered buying the app until recently. As the app is great, I don’t think the says you earn from paying even come close to the net benefit you receive from the free version. I was earning 20 sats per day for my steps and now it’s only 5 sats at best. Not sure how this makes sense but it’s the truth. They recently improved the daily rewards with spins for watching ads but I’m not sure how that would negatively effect my sats per steps. I would change my review if there was something to say about this change or bug.

I like the app and what it offers, but last 3 days ive used app, it only gives me 5 sats for my steps, and im walking like 15k plus steps. It stops counting them about halfway in the day. It shows my steps, but i dont get rewarded for them fully. I REALLY wanna do the $4.99 or $9.99 subscription you guys have, but if it’s not giving me sats for my steps, whats the point. All permissions have been updated in app. Everything is good. No vpn. It has full access always. And its still not rewarding me fully for steps. Please fix this, and I’ll update to 5 stars, and revise review. Id also like a button on home page to simply convert steps to sats. Like other apps. I think it would help greatly with steps counting and getting sat rewards! Love app, just 3-5 sats a day for 15k-20k+ steps a day is annoying. Please fix! Im on iPhone 15 Plus on IOS 26. Thank you. Again all settings and permissions are good to go. I just get way less sat payout for my steps than i should. Fix this, and i pay for the monthly or yearly subscription to app!

I could then use this to work my way into cryptocurrency. What started as an experiment that was inline with my goals has turned out to be less than favorable. The wheel is rigged to fail and so is the castle. You will never get more than 5 and you get a cute popup that says welp you can’t win them all. Statistically 1 in 6 means a small chance of a favorable outcome but after 2 years of rolling the dice I am going to find something else to waste my time doing. I’m am not happy about leaving your app because it has been very rewarding to believe that it would pay off but it hasn’t. Your entire app needs a revamp. There is no support option and I can’t find my friends. I will be suggesting that they remove your app as well. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

Thanks for your feedback, we take it seriously. We are constantly adding more ways to earn Bitcoin, especially so you can earn and win higher amounts on the games. Shopping rewards can also earn you thousands of sats per purchase. Same with Arcade rewards, which unlocks a Bitcoin Boost to earn double sats for steps. Feel free to try it out, and stay tuned for more updates with more rewards!

UpdatedI was a paid premium member and everything was great as I was earning lots of rewards for many activities. I played one game that offered a 50,000 SAT bonus for playing enough turns to watch a very large amount of ads. The premium members get a 50% on their rewards so $Smiles according to its offer would pay me another 25,000 SATS according to its TOS. The day after the game confirmed my reward was earned, my account stopped earning SATs for walking.l and was frozen without explanation or justification. Pending SATS stopped posting to my account. Even though 79,264 SATs shows available, I can’t withdraw them either with lightning invoice or Wallet of Satoshi. But there’s more, they not only never communicated with me me, but ignored multiple emails. They charged me for premium for two with no benefits and refused to credit. I did turn to Apple for credit after weeks of them ignoring me and that was credited back $9.98 but that’s just a fraction of what I was owed. All told, I earned 219,055 SATS I got none. In addition to that, all the surveys I filled out, linked I clicked, and games I played earned them money. They kept that money and mine too. Whether this is intentional theft or they’re just bad at administering an app l, I don’t know. And for my part, it doesn’t make much difference. Regardless, this is the sort of shady and sketchy operator who gives Bitcoin a bad name. Avoid this app if you want good service and to actually get paid as promised.
