The heali app is such a great resource for me. I love being able to search any food and learn about the nutrition facts! There are explanations given as to what the food is, and the health benefits associated with it which is really helpful.I especially love that I can set different diet preferences so I can easily see foods that will and will not work for me. The app gives me the option to avoid certain foods and eat more of others. I wanted to avoid sodium and eat more fat. Foods that fit this guideline were so easy to find! Whether the food did or did not fit my preference, there was an explanation as to why, which really helped me understand the product.There are also recipes provided that can ft with my dietary guidelines. It is so helpful to look on the app when I can’t think of anything to make for myself.

The menu scan feature actually works really well and is super easy to use. A much better implementation than other attempts at this I've seen. It's fun to click and discover more about ingredients I don't know. I was even curious to see if it could be used on things other than menus, like ingredients on nutrition labels and it can. Super impressive!

Best thing about this app is the camera feature. Scanning barcodes at the grocery store really helps me only buy things that work for my diet. While there are some products that the app doesn’t have, you can use the text scan on the ingredient label instead. It’s a smart workaround that I haven’t seen other apps try.

All the nutrition apps I’ve tried seemed so hard to figure out except for Heali. Not only was setting my diet short, sweet and simple, but I was also able to make it much more customized than on other apps. It’s so cool to be able to customize at such a granular level. Plus the app is very visually appealing and user friendly!
