Lira Exchange shows the real price of the dollar where the official rate is not the whole story. Since 2019 it has tracked the Lebanese and Syrian lira on the street, minute by minute. Today it covers 13 parallel markets: Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Argentina and Venezuela. Every market shows the street buy and sell rate, the official rate and, where it exists, the bank rate, so you always see the gap.
