Felling trees with a chainsaw is one of the most dangerous jobs in agriculture, forestry and horticulture. Chainsaw operators are therefore required to be skilled and competent in their work. After felling a tree, the remaining stump shows whether the chainsaw operator has worked competently and safely.
The ‘stump assessment’ shows whether the most important aspect of a skilled tree felling has been carried out.
Chainsaw operators, forest owners, contractors and clients are required to be able to assess the safety of felling work based on stump quality, or to have it assessed.

Functions such as photographing stumps, recording assessment criteria, saving and managing stump records and results, as well as practical information and help, enable easy use with a wealth of knowledge. “STOCKFIBEL to go” provides information on the prescribed professional characteristics and at the same time documents the quality of the craftsmanship involved in chainsaw work during tree felling.
The use of the app in training is recommended.
