ParkSwap brings parking search and helpful community reports together, with two clear actions: Find Parking and I'm Leaving. SCAN THE SIGN. REMEMBER THE TIME. • Photograph one NYC street-cleaning sign while safely parked or on the sidewalk • Review the days and hours read on your iPhone, then confirm the actual posted schedule • Save a personal street-cleaning calendar inside ParkSwap • Choose an alert 15 or 30 minutes before cleaning starts • See scheduled ASP holidays separately from the rules that still apply Your sign photo is processed on-device and isn't saved or uploaded. One confirmed sign stays free per device. Optional Plus adds two more. Alerts cover the next 28 days and refresh when ParkSwap opens. Known scheduled suspensions are omitted; weather and emergency changes still require checking NYC311. Phone settings can silence notifications. Never rely on reminders alone to avoid a ticket. PARKING POWERED BY PEOPLE • Look for timely community parking reports near your destination • Share a departure or an opening you spotted, when safe • Follow a connection's arrival status and review your activity • Cancel when plans change; a public space is never reserved or guaranteed • After successful parking, an optional thank-you can show your appreciation EVERYDAY TOOLS FOR NEW YORK • Check the published NYC ASP suspension calendar and official sources • Save where you parked and get walking directions back • Set meter and move-car reminders from signs or your receipt • Open the official NYC meter-payment service • Estimate hydrant-to-car distance with the camera on supported iPhones GET THERE, THEN FIND YOUR WAY BACK Search U.S. addresses and destinations, review driving directions and keep your saved-car location close. NYC parking references are labeled for NYC; community participation varies by neighborhood. TRUST AT THE CURB Reports are community information, not parking reservations, sales or guarantees. Never block traffic or hold a public space. Read the whole block and check every applicable restriction before parking. A green hydrant-distance indicator means only that the estimate is beyond the reference—not that parking is legal. Camera estimates aren't calibrated measurements; leave extra space and verify the actual distance. Reminders do not pay or extend a meter session. Use ParkSwap only when it is safe to interact with your phone. An account is required for community coordination. Optional payments are user-initiated; card details are handled by Stripe. Hydrant camera frames and measurements stay on-device and aren't saved or uploaded. ParkSwap is independent software from NinetySix Technologies LLC, not an official city service. OPTIONAL PARKSWAP PLUS Add two extra street-cleaning signs (three total), separate reminders and one combined calendar. Each extra sign queues up to six upcoming alerts within 28 days; open the app to refresh. Schedules stay on each device. Restore eligible purchases with the same Apple Account. Saved calendars remain readable and removable after expiry. Monthly and annual Apple subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. It looks like a good concept, but I do not see why the app needs both my card information and my bank account information, seems a bit sketchy to me, and could be a reason lots of people won’t want to join.

Would be cool if I could use the app a few times as a proof of concept before I commit to giving my financial info to this random developer I know nothing about. Odds are I’ll never actually end up using the product and to be honest I don’t really know why I would ever send someone a gift for giving me a street parking spot. Just sounds like it adds more of a headache and complication to street parking in NYC. And it just seems like a flimsy excuse for the developer to get your financials. Also leaves me wondering how exactly this app is making money. If not selling your financials, I guess they sell your location data?

If users want to be able to receive money, they’ll enter the bank account information to be able to receive it.Actually there is a lot of people that would send money to find parking spots. At the beginning when I downloaded the app there wasn’t a lot of people around my neighborhood, after a few weeks, people started using it and parking has never been an issue anymore. I hope people use it everywhere and I’m going to recommend it to everyone I see!

Parking tools are easier to find. • A dedicated Tools tab brings Hydrant Distance and NYC ASP calendar/sign scanning together. • Camera guidance and ground-tracking checks explain when an estimate is unavailable. • Navigation uses a map-coordinate vehicle marker and repositioned speed information. • Optional ParkSwap Plus adds two additional saved street-cleaning signs, separate reminders and a combined calendar. Your first sign stays free; saved schedules remain readable and removable after access expires. Restore and subscription management are available. Hydrant results are estimates, not proof that parking is legal. Verify signs, actual distance and current NYC311 information.
