Founded by knitting sisters Alison & Andrea, Knitrino is crafted on the sense of family and community central to the fiber arts. Knitrino is so easy to use, thoughtfully and consciously created, and well-designed with knitters of all skill levels in mind. Full disclosure: I knitted my first sweater using this app! I also did colorwork for the first time after being a knitter for 9 years! AND I used charts for the first time! I already started knitting another colorwork sweater because the app made the entire process so easy to keep track of and fun to do! I love the immersive experience that Knitrino gives you, as well as the thoughtful little additions and touches that show that the development team took real advice from real knitters & then incorporated everything into their design process! Everything is so well designed and beautiful to see and use. This is my new favorite app and I honestly cannot imagine having to use paper pattern charts, marking off stitches with highlighters and pens, trying to keep track of everything... *shudder*. No thanks. Knitrino is the cream of the crop amd I’m sticking with her forever!

My daughter and I both just love using Knitrino. The design team have thought of everything to make this the most helpful knitting tool on the market. Hate charts? Don’t understand charts? This is the app for you!! Knitrino will help you become a chart reader and lover. If you are new to knitting or just know the basics this app demonstrates and explains all techniques in your knitting pattern . If you want to try a harder pattern ? You can do it with success using Knitrino. Now my daughter doesn’t ask me how to do a certain stitch. Knitrino helps her as many or as few times as she needs it. If you are a pattern designer you need to have your patterns published through Knitrino. Plenty of places to add your notes and explanations for your knitting patterns. The best part is You only pay for the patterns you use. No yearly or monthly fee. When a tool makes a newer, younger knitter and a older advanced knitter both happy you know it is a winner. This innovative app for knitters is truly incredible. I was afraid of cable work and then I made the Astral Hat using the Knitrino app and it was a breeze! The in-app mini tutorial videos are great to remind you how to do stitches (left leaning decrease, make one right) and it also helps you keep track of rows when you’re using a chart. Cannot recommend enough - download this app right now! I now wish everything I knit was available on Knitrino. It’s the best for traveling because you’ll never lose your spot in the pattern (no need to count rows!)Andrea and Alison are so supportive and quick to respond to any questions or issues. This is a great way to try a new technique - with the easy to use in-app tutorials, you can confidently tackle new techniques like brioche. Note that this is not a chart-reader app; you use the patterns available in the app. It is not designed for you to store/access your own patterns or charts. Can’t wait for more patterns to be released :)

I’ve been using Knitrino for a few years now, and to me it’s just the best way to knit. It’s so nice to work on just one row at a time and be able to click on any stitch to see a video of how to do it. The patterns are just beautiful and if you join the Sprouts club you have the option to receive monthly kits that include gorgeous yarn, and sometimes during the knit nights on Zoom you can meet the different dyers and designers. Everything is just top notch. You just have to remember going in that Knitrino is not an app where you can use your own patterns. You will be using only Knitrino patterns that rotate frequently, so you never run out of something new and exciting to make. I’ve gotten to where if I do make a pattern that’s not in Knitrino I really miss the ease and the cheerful and positive atmosphere of the Knitrino app!
The best version of Knitrino yet: we've added a shiny new Resume button that gets you back to your project with 1 click! We've also added new cart feature that lets you purchase multiple kits at one time, or buy just the supplies you need. We've made other speed imrpovements so charts load faster, and we've fixed some bugs and made additional UX improvements.
