I like the app my only issue is that when you are away from the clients home you cannot clock in or clock out. With me being the preferred worker sometimes my day starts earlier with a grocery store run for the client before I make it to their residence and I cannot clock in until I reach their residence but I’m already doing work for the client. Also same thing if we’re at a Drs appt for example past my shift time it won’t let me clock out at the designated time because im not at the residence.

You can choose between weekly or monthly calendar view. You can see other employee’s requests for shifts they need covered so others can fill in. CONS:The app is not very user friendly. There are no easy reports or readily available totals for hours worked in a given timeframe, for a specific client, or any other parameters. Not being able to clock in or out unless it’s within 5 or 6 min of the scheduled time is difficult. If you miss one, you can’t do it later. It also won’t show up in the app on previous days if it had to be added manually by the admin. You can’t edit notes once you’ve posted them, or go back and add them to a previous day. Your shift has to be entered by an admin person before it will show up in the app. So if something changes last minute, you have to wait for it to show up until the admin updates it. You can’t go back and see signatures from previously completed shifts. The app times out sometimes. When you clock out and submit the last signature, it will process for sometimes minutes at a time. Then it will give you an error saying it’s too late. Very frustrating. The notification reminder for your next shift is sent more than 24 hours before. For example, let’s say I work every weekday at 2pm. I’ll get a notification at like 10am on Wednesday that my next shift is coming up at 2pm for Thursday. However, I haven’t even done Wednesday’s shift starting at 2pm yet. That reminder was sent the day before on Tuesday morning.

After trying a new company we came right back to CareSmartz 360. Our schedules make more sense and everything is clear for our work/ clients. The only thing I would change is to have two different addresses available for clock in/ out times. But thank you for keeping it simple.

It delays when clocking in. It makes you redo signature because it doesn’t take the first time. The calendar should be a little better. When looking at available shifts it should have a color or colored dot next to a available shift if you are already assigned to someone else that day. In other words, show the available shifts that does not over lap your assigned shift. If it does, then show a colored marker that indicates you may be overlapping it. Have another indicator for each client showing you that an errand has been performed that week and next available day for errands should begin on whatever day it maybe.
