Buy this! Use it!

The color coding of rhyme patterns is what sets this program apart. I'm a professional lyricist with dozens of successful commercial releases to my name. This is the most useful app for lyric writing I've tried and that includes paid programs like Masterwriter etc. I use it all the time. The thesaurus and even the rhyming dictionary are not the most comprehensive, but you don't need comprehensive lists of ryhymes and words, you need useful ones. The program does a good job of showing useful rhymes, and allows you to work quick to get ideas down wihtout distractions. Honestly, I don' t use the rhymes though, The feature that identifies rhyming pattrerns and color codes them is indispensable.

This is GREAT!!

I had this app on my phone for a while now, and was putting all my ideas down for the inevitable day that I would start recording and turning them into songs. Then, I switched phones. Much of my data and former apps had to be reloaded and also wanted to use the app on my computer. I just knew that my ideas were gone. To my delight, when I put in my login information ALL my song ideas came back...even the ones from two year ago! I now use the app on my phone and my computer and it seamlessly transfers the information! Oh, did I mention you're NEVER out of ideas for a rhyme??? This is a keeper!!!

Better than Great - A Hidden Gem

Before I found Rhymer's Block, I was trying to write a couple poems/songs using an online Thesaurus and a few other tools. Also, I was manually counting syllables. I thought there must be a better way—and of all the apps I tried, Rhymer's Block came out on top.

Two of my favorite features are the dynamic list of words that sound like (not just spelled like) the selected word, and the live update of the selected sentence's syllable count.

I didn't realize how helpful 'The Block' community feature would be until I tried it. It gives you the ability to share your work with others,. You can give and receive 'Respect' and comments on your work (if you want). Well implemented.

Also, I had some questions for the developer and he responded quickly and patiently until my issue was fixed. Keep up the great work.

I do just have one request: Please provide complete Apple Sign-In support for each platform (iOS, iPadOS, and macOS). I think the added security and privacy is appropriate for the social features of this great app.
