The C4HSecure app is a multifaceted communication and security platform designed to provide HIPAA-compliant secure access, messaging, on-call scheduling, personalization, and support services, ensuring the protection of sensitive health information. The following points highlight the main functionalities of the app in a simplified manner:
Secure Sign-In: Users can log in with a username and password or utilize biometric authentication such as Face ID or Touch ID. The app clearly outlines the login process and provides a link for password or username recovery.
Password Reset: A dedicated reset screen is available where users can update their passwords by verifying their identity with a One Time Password (OTP) sent to their registered mobile number.
Intuitive Navigation: The main menu provides quick access to messages, on-call schedules, contacts, settings, and support. It also displays the currently installed version of the app.
Message Management: Users can compose, filter, and search messages within the app. New messages are easily identifiable with a blue dot indicator. Communication Hub: The chat feature allows users to efficiently manage call center communications, including the ability to respond to messages and directly call patients.
On-Call Schedule: Users can access and sort on-call schedules by practice and utilize a date picker to select specific dates.
Customizable Settings: The app offers numerous settings such as setting a callback number (which is kept confidential for privacy), selecting notification tones, enabling or disabling biometric login, updating passwords, adjusting notification frequency, and setting session timeout preferences. Support Services: The app includes support features for addressing messagerelated inquiries through the call center and for resolving technical issues with the app.
Overall, C4HSecure app stands out as a robust and user-centric platform for secure and streamlined communication within the healthcare sector.
This is a great concept, however as it stands, the app is buggy. It logs you off if you try to change from the message screen to the menu. Some providers complain of not getting notifications from the call center, even though the call center has clear logs of having sent the message through. Needs improvements to fulfill its potential.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. It’s like you asked someone who never used a messaging system before to design a secure messaging system but to make it full of bugs and defects.

This is an awful app. I wish I could give it a negative rating. Also it’s currently listed as “5 stars”??? Most of the reviews I see are negative….

Many design flaws. No subject line, unable to see if message read, logs out for various reasons, notifications not consistently notifying.
General performance improvements and bug fixes.
Added support for device-specific login (secure per-user device validation).
Fixed media picker issue — now supports both images and videos.
