We used a React ‘scanning’ component initially, but it doesn’t have all the features that VeryFi built into this lens. Our app customers expect to be able to submit handwritten or long receipts that other scanners would choke on. The ‘scan and pan’ feature of the VeryFi Lens is an intuitive way for customers to submit long receipts. This app can be white-labeled and embedded in an app, and the ‘working demo’ shows you in real time the formatted results of the data extraction. You can also see the JSON, which includes the line-item details.
Fast, accurate and easy to use

I used the app to occasionally capture my personal receipts, checks and business cards. They all worked well in my case. The results were fast and accurate. So far I didn’t have to manually edit or update anything. Kudos to the team for making such a superb app!
Maybe I’m Too Stupid

I wanted this to be great and answer my receipt scanning needs. However, I could not get the totals to show up properly. No matter what I did (removed line items, adjusted line item costs, checked discount amounts, etc) it always showed a Total Cost of about 3x the actual total. Example, an item that was $2000 was on sale for 50% off. So, it grabbed $2000 AND $1000 for a total of $3000. It considered both values as line items (even after manually removing one). Nothing I did would fix this.
