Not sure what they did but the app literally feels like a phishing attempt to steal every possible password I could think of to try and get this thing working again!! Garbage! my camera is now unusable and nothing more than a paperweight! The app is horrible! Please someone tell them to Spell Check and use simple English Grammer! It’s put together so bad I somehow now feel like I’ve been scammed.. this thing use to work, but now there’s Zero options to ever use it again! All because the super secure default password (hint it’s literally 123, and it’s written in the bottom of the camera) is now the Wrong password! Ironically I have NEVER changed the password! Why would I? It’s caused me enough frustration that I’m leaving this review.. IF YOUVE BOUGHT A CAMERA THAT USES THIS APP, RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY! Spare yourself the cussing and confusion (and spare yourself from being hacked) by staying away!! My GF literally just found out that someone’s been loading up $3k worth of stuff in a shopping basket online, and she was trying to connect the camera with the app for the first time earlier today! Coincidence or not, it’s a scam! HAPSEE YOURSELF AWAY FROM THIS TRAP!!
Camera only work when app is connected to the same WiFi

It used to work very well and I can watch my dog while I am at work. However, since some version update, now I can only connect to the camera while the App/my phone is connected to the same WiFi (that is, only when I am at home) — it must be due to some stupid bug in the new update. This makes my camera useless…..

We have these camera for several years now, 2 hap see mate and 1 hap see, they’re all great, no service required, just connect it to your Wi-Fi and it works great, it works for watching and you can record if you want only you can’t go back to any time unless you pay for the subscription. It’s great for keeping an eye on your pet, senior citizen and babies. Thank goodness for these cameras

I see everyone is having problems connecting to their Wi-Fi or scanning the barcode to the camera and after trying multiple ways, I found that connecting it to my hotspot through my phone it fixed the issue and the camera works perfectly!!
