I used Pholorize on 50 year old framed B/W photos of myself and my older sisters. The instant color on the face and hair was excellent. However, I had previously edited the images to remove marks that were on the glass. I Pholarized the edited "clean" images but Pholarize went back to the originals and the color results still showed the smudges I had removed. I solved this problem by cleaning the glass before putting the photos back into my Mac. Next issue; how to color the clothing and jewelry? the color ends at the base of the neck but skin lower than that is still grey. And finally, I have to first run Pholorize and then import the photo, but I keep trying to drop the photo onto Pholorize. I'll just have to get used to the order but either should work.
Problem using the app in night mode

I see the bad reviews and I can understand why, the C button is not visible when in dark mode especially on OLED iPhones when in night mode, stop night mode temporarily until the team can fix this issue

Accesses photos without permission in iOS privacy settings

After installing this app, this app was immediately able to access photos on the iPhone without permission in Settings > Privacy > Photos. In other words, this app is *not* on the list of apps which have permission to access photos stored on the iPhone but the app *is* able to access all photos on the iPhone. After opening an Apple Support case, I was informed by Apple that this app uses an iOS feature that allows this app to access photos without giving the app permission in Settings > Privacy > Photos. This is not acceptable from a privacy standpoint.

Would love to give my $35, but can’t test the functions

I would rate this higher, but I have no idea what functionality this app actually has. I want to see one, one, sample from my library but the demo doesn’t allow for seeing that. Please allow at least one result, and then don’t let me export, just so I know what I am buying.
