+Fort: Stronger than bullying was created to support young victims of bullying by a team of experts led by Dr. Isabelle Ouellet-Morin, the Canada Research Chair in the developmental origins of vulnerability and resilience, professor at the University of Montreal and researcher at the Research Center of Institut universitaire en santé mentale de Montréal. She is also the co-director of AXEL, a technological intelligence accelerator for better mental health.
+Fort: Stronger than Bullying allows youth to:
Discover strategies to help them reduce bullying in their lives
Test many strategies to identify which ones are most useful or best suited to their situation
Learn more about bullying through video clips
Better understand their experience through journaling, and shareable, easy-to-understand graphics
Preliminary studies show that:
Bullying is reduced by nearly half, on average, after 4-6 weeks of using the app
Youth say they like accessing multiple strategies and being able to share their experience without judgement. They feel more confident in their ability to end bullying and seek help
