Ratings and Reviews
exploration and nostalgia
Don't expect metroidvania despite the appearance; this is based on computer games older than that. I didn't find this game to be very challenging, but it is fun to explore, and should bring back good memories for those 40 and older who owned early computers. Gameplay is simple but very accurate/responsive, although sometimes you've gotta be careful not to jump right away off the platform you're jumping up to.
Good game
I love the old school sounds, tunes and gameplay. It brings back memories! The controls are also very responsive and the game plays well.
Unfortunately I did experience a problem with the button layout. After playing a few levels on my iPad Mini, I quickly developed a cramp in my left wrist from straining to reach the forward button.
I'm also a bit confused about the character's movement. While jumping to a platform, occasionally the character will perform an unintended double jump. If the character is capable of performing double jumps, it would be nice to use them strategically instead of having them happen at random.
If the button layout is updated for larger devices, I will add a 5th star to my review. Thanks to the developer!
Please read!
The game is great! The reason it only has 4 stars is because the controls and huge and to big for an iPad. They hurt my hands. Please make a control change option!
