Doesn’t seem to connect to my watch

I wish this watch can send messages and accept calls. The hero band v is literally the same as 3. Also the location for weather keeps asking if I want to use precise location. Pls make a permanent option that says always

I was unable to connect to the watch, even though my iPad settings said it was connected. Without such a connection, the app is useless.
