I have been on a big productivity app journey, some would call it an obsession. I’ve tried probably 30 apps and previously had separate apps for reminders, habits, notes, journaling, and daily planning. It seemed at the time like I had the “best” of all of these categories, but in reality I was wasting a ton of mental energy keeping track of my inputs in all of these separate apps that didn’t communicate with each other. I then tried some of the well-known PKMS solutions like Notion or Obsidian, but their task management systems seemed really clunky to me and the systems were also missing that spark that makes this whole thing fun and encourages me to use it and be more productive. Enter Journal It! I’ve literally replaced 5 apps with this one. The only other all-in-one productivity app I’ve found that meets my needs is Twos, but I just didn’t align as well with the bullet-style form of capturing things. Journal It’s hierarchical structure is perfect for me. And, it may seem like a small thing, but the casual style and how light the colors make the app feel goes a long way in encouraging me to use it. Journal It! Is the first and last app I look at each day and I probably use it another 30 times throughout. It is essential to me and is, in my opinion, the best option in the entire productivity app category. High praise, I know, but trust me, I’ve tried MANY. Everyone needs to try this app and invest the time in understanding it - it took me a few tries to really understand all there is to do. But it’s so, so worth it. Thank you to the developer for this indispensable life companion.

I have had this experience where I knew I would like an app, I liked the idea of the app, but I didn't get the app initially.Capacities was one such example where I knew I would like it, I liked the videos of it, I liked the way it looked, I even toyed with it a little bit, and I from the very beginning was a supporter even though I didn't use it for months.Months and months later did I finally start using it and “got it.”Same thing with Journal It! - except Journal It! I have gotten a little faster.The thing is, to me, Journal It! is so rich that you have to start with, as the developer in a Reddit thread said, with the main page and one tab. And that resonated with me; and when I did that I started to just use it, instead of trying to see the overall picture of the entire structure, like an atlas of the entire app; I just started right at the beginning, so to say by just using it.And it worked for me and it totally clicked and I'm very happy that it's clicked for me, I still have so much to discover really because everything is rich, everything has a door to a different aspect, to more details, etc. I love it and I'm so happy also that I got a lifetime deal for it, which I've already purchased.This has got to be one of the best kept secrets and jewels, if you ask me, in the productivity - LIFE productivity - arena. It really deserves a much broader audience, or maybe it has it, I don't know. I didn't know about it until very recently, and I'm always looking out for apps that will fulfill my shiny new toy syndrome illness AND my actual desire to be more productive and organized and reflective. This meets all of the requirements and then some.Bravo to the developer. Really amazing. I'm ecstatic with this app.

After using this app for about a month, I can safely say it’s absolutely perfect for me. I’ve been looking for a scheduling app that would fit my needs for years, but nothing has ever had everything I want until now. The ability to time block flexibly without setting specific times of day is crucial for me, and I love having the ability to easily create and schedule multi-step projects as well as simple one-time tasks.The only thing it’s missing is a more intricate scheduling system when it comes to dates. I would love being able to schedule a repeating task for, say, the third Thursday of every month. But that’s not a dealbreaker for me, and this app excels in every other area. Highly recommend.

I have been a subscriber to this app for years and I can honestly say it’s only gotten better and better. It has a very low rate and absolutely everything you could ask for. You can either use it as a journaling app only or you can take it further and use it for all of your tasks and calendar needs. Also, if you have any questions or suggestions, the team is always willing to hear your feedback and respond to it! My only issue has been that it is slightly overwhelming but the JournalIt! Team has been doing a great job putting out videos and guides to help walk those of us with learning curves through it! Would definitely recommend!

Team has been doing a great job putting out videos and guides to help walk those of us with learning curves through it! Would definitely recommend!
