Epic has historically been one of the few browsers if not the only browser to offer both security and comprehensive privacy out-of-the-box. Many other so-called privacy browsers often don't have an encrypted VPN built-in or use the TOR network which should be considered insecure as many nodes are run by hackers and other malicious hosts. So close to best/most secure browser -except for one HUGE issue!

This is probably the best most secure browser available and I would easily give it 10 stars if I could - except for one simple yet glaring omission! How is it that you guys don’t have a way to import and export bookmarks?! Or at least have a login and sync option so that we’re able to actually ditch our other browsers and use yours exclusively ? I have to keep stupid Brave browser on my phone specifically because of this problem and I don’t want it ! Not to mention my bookmarks on my iPhone are basically held in jail because I cannot get them off of my iPhone to anywhere else! This is a huge deal and in 2022 the omission of a simple bookmark import/ export or sync is absolutely nuts! Come on guys, you literally have the best browser available except for this little thing that could easily be done, I don’t understand why it’s not on there! If you change this I’ll easily update the review to 5 stars. Also since I’m complaining and dissing what is otherwise an amazing app (dont hate me) but having to keep brave on my iPhone has shown me how convenient it is that it mimics safaris user agent and I’m able to have integration with the OS when I click on links etc. it opens as if it’s Safari. It would be nice to have that as well but other than that let me stop complaining and give kudos to you guys for everything else (especially the privacy features ) Keep up the good work! And hopefully you can get these little changes in order so ppl can make the switch to you with both feet 😀

As a privacy concerned individual, I really appreciate the effort and steps Epic has made in that arena. I’ve even subscribed to your private search engine to help support your efforts. I would love to use Epic all the time but I simply can’t due the blinding, retina-searing white background. PLEASE give us a dark mode and my rating will immediately go to 5 stars. But… please accept my sincere thanks for what you have accomplished so far. Keep up the good fight!
the fastest and secure browser out there

i have been using the windows desktop version for a long time. the iOS version is fantastic. Not only it has features like ad block and vpn which come without any charge, the browser has many other inbuilt features (like print to pdf, download video/audio, etc) which few, if any, browsers provide for free or ad-free. Secondly, the interface is superb. The only thing missing is that even though there is this wonderful feature to download videos, i am not able to identify where the downloads are actually stored. If i close the tab, the download is lost. Hopefully, the epic team will look into it.

Just loaded this browser on my iphone yesterday, so far it meets my expectations for the most part. I first loaded Epic on my iMac and was not disappointed. I like the access to the adblocker and vpn being up front on the browser and not having to dig through settings to engage or disengage. It would be nice to be able to install a search engine of choice to set as default, but I can work with the Epic or Yahoo search engines. The main thing I am looking for in a browser for phone or desktop is that it be streamlined, uncluttered, and fast.Keep building this the way you are and I will stay a fan.
