* Updated the search buttons on the song edit page to open a web browser within a BandHelper popup window, with buttons to import the main page container, the selected text or the current page URL. You can use this to easily copy lyrics, chords, song facts or video links into the Lyrics, Chords or Notes fields. More details are in the Adding Lyrics tutorial. • Added a Notes - For Client field to the invoice edit page. You can use this to add notes for the client to the invoice PDF. The Notes - Internal field is not visible to clients. • Updated chat message popups to appear above a full-screen document viewer. • Fixed a crash when clicking the Lists button in the song picker, the calendar month shortcut button and the Import Playlist button on macOS 26. • Fixed the display of shared notes in the notes popup when personal notes are also set. • Fixed the display of the notes popup from a Notes button in the song list. • Stopped selecting the song when clicking the Notes button for a different song in the song list. • Fixed a problem where the eraser tool would show as active in the annotation toolbar even though it was not active. • Fixed a problem that showed the Device Offline message for automatic syncs that were run after a manual sync.

* Added a chromatic tuner to the set list view. You can edit your layout and add the Tuner button to show it, or trigger the Other > Show/Hide Tuner app control action. Using the tuner requires microphone permission on your device. If you open the tuner while BandHelper is playing other audio, that audio might be interrupted. * Updated the Notes button in the set list view to show all of the user's custom fields for the song, in addition to the shared notes and personal notes. This makes it easy to see custom field values that aren't displayed in the layout, without opening the song's edit page. If you want to leave any custom fields out of this display, you can go to Repertoire > Custom Fields > [custom field name] and turn off Include In Notes Popup. • Enabled manual scrolling on the Chords field when the chords are longer than the available display height. Scrolling from hotspots, app control, automation tracks or auto-scroll still requires putting long chord content into the Lyrics field. • Fixed a problem where the recording edit page didn't load the saved Users value, which made it seem like the value wasn't saving. • Fixed a crash when loading the Stage Plots > Notes page.

• Updated Settings > Live Sharing > Speak Chat Messages to include messages sent from the device, so you can run the lead device's output to an IEM system. • When stepping through a custom marker sequence, stopped wrapping from the last to the first or the first to the last marker. • Fixed a crash when viewing set lists on older macOS versions.

• Removed an empty line that displayed at the end of the Chords field. • Fixed a problem where the Chords field didn't save its text size correctly when it contained only one line of text. • Updated the new marker sequence functionality to work even if the layout doesn't contain marker buttons. • Fixed a crash when a document includes a marker sequence that doesn't contain every marker. • Updated the Previous Page/Marker or Song app control action to move to the last page of the previous song when viewing a document in two columns. • Fixed a problem that caused the search button to not highlight on macOS 26 when there are saved list filters. • Updated the Future filter on the Repertoire > Set Lists page to include events on the current day. • Fixed a slowdown of animations after the first time the on-screen keyboard appears on macOS 26. • Fixed the reordering of song list fields in layouts on macOS 26. • Adjusted the opacity of the document toolbar and overlapping layout items on macOS 26.

* Added functions to create a custom sequence of document markers. For example, you might add markers for Part A, Part B and Coda, then create a sequence that goes Part A, Part B, Part A, Part B, Coda. Then you can step through the markers in that order from the Document Markers buttons, the Next/Previous Page Or Marker app control actions or the up/down hotspots. To edit the sequence, click the Edit Marker Sequence button in the document toolbar, then click the Add a Marker button to add as many instances of each marker as you need, then drag the "grip" icons to reorder the markers. • Added support for .zip files in the Files module. You can copy a zip file from BandHelper to another app by clicking the Export button on the file edit page. • Updated the Show Tempo On Button setting to show the tempo field all the time, not just when the tempo is playing. • Fixed a problem that saved the lyrics font size incorrectly when the last line of the lyrics is a heading.

• Fixed some issues with lyrics display and auto-scrolling.

• Updated for macOS 26 and the Liquid Glass interface.

• Updated the Add To Set List function on the song edit page to correctly update the cached song count for the set list. • Fixed a problem that retained custom field values when deleting a custom field. • Stopped centering the Chords field in layouts when the Lyrics field is centered. • Stopped syncing after saving a list filter, since list filters aren't synced across devices. • Stopped showing an expiration notice when opening an account if the account expired since the last sync, in case the account has been renewed on another device and this device just needs to sync to get the new expiration date.

• Added Settings > Audio & MIDI > Persist Paired Preset States to leave a paired MIDI preset in its active state when changing songs. • Fixed some problems with annotation positions when zooming a document. • Updated the annotation drawing so that a single tap won't draw a dot; only a movement will trigger the drawing. • Updated the document viewer to follow the lead device's current page if scrolling through a document with Live Sharing when the lead device is using a 1-column display and the following device is using a 2-column display. The following device should use the Fit To Height setting in this situation. • Updated the document viewer to ignore a saved zoom position when displaying in two columns. • Checked the account expiration date when opening the app, not just when syncing, to avoid problems if you keep your device offline for a long time and your account expires during that time. • Restricted the size of debug logs so the Send Troubleshooting Info function can run more quickly.

• Added Settings > Advanced > App Control > Use Alternative Keyboard Handler for macOS versions that don't support the default keyboard input. • Fixed a crash when clicking or scrolling the lyrics on some devices.

• Updated the document, recording and MIDI preset buttons in the set list view to hide items that aren't assigned to the current project, unless the song was temporarily added to the set list from another project from the Search button. • Updated the set list view to assign a song to the current project if it was added to the set list from another project from the Search button and Settings > Advanced > General > Save Songs Added From Search is on. • Fixed the Tap Tempo function on the tempo button when the song has no saved tempo. • Fixed a problem where all the undated set lists would temporarily appear in the Set Lists section when adding a new event. • Stopped hiding parentheses in lines containing parenthesized text but no chords when Settings > Appearance > Hide Parentheses In Chord Lines is on. • Fixed a crash on the transaction edit page when adding users after loading default shares from the latest event. • Fixed a crash when resizing the document viewer while viewing an annotated PDF in two columns. • Disabled zooming PDFs while viewing them in two columns. • Updated the Page Buttons layout item to work correctly with a two-column display and to appear immediately when adding to a layout.

* Added a Separate Line setting to the Share Set List page. If you select a field here, that field will appear on a separate line, with the other fields sharing a line as before. This allows you to display fields with longer text on printed set lists. This setting is disabled if the Email Format is set to HTML. * Added an option for transparent stickie notes in the lyrics and document annotations. (The color selector will be black in the dark color theme and white in the light color theme.) ! Renamed Select Next Song On Song Completion to Auto-Advance Through Songs, and moved it from the layout details to the Settings > App Control page. That makes this setting device-specific instead of layout-specific. * Added Other > Start/Stop Auto-Advance to the app control actions, and added Top Toolbar Buttons > Auto-Advance to the layout details, to quickly toggle the Auto-Advance Through Songs setting. You can turn this on or off during a song to change what will happen at the end of the song. * Added Recordings > Record/Save In-App Recording to the app control actions, to quickly make an in-app recording. Triggering this action skips the recording levels preview and starts recording immediately. Triggering it again skips the save prompt and saves the recording with the default filename. You can use this action in a layout that doesn't include the recording controls. If the layout includes the single recording button, that will highlight and show a timer while recording. • Renamed the Start/Stop Automation app control action to Play/Pause Automation to better reflect its behavior. • Updated the volume and recording speed sliders in the set list view to allow clicking on either side of the current position to nudge the position in 1/32 increments. Clicking too quickly will be considered a double-click, which resets the slider to the default position. • Updated the set list view to allow pinch-zooming a document while annotating it. • Updated the stage plot Edit Layout page to allow dragging a zoomed stage plot with two fingers, instead of with one finger after a long-press, for consistency with the set list view. • Updated the event edit page to allow adding one or more set lists to the event, which is more convenient when reusing an existing set list for a new event. You can still add a set list to an event from the set list edit page, which is more convenient when creating a new set list for an existing event. • Updated the event list to show the user response counts instead of the event category names. • Added Settings > Appearance > Stage Plot Date Updated to include the last saved date on stage plots. • Updated the text search fields to ignore punctuation marks except apostrophes, to match the website search functionality. • Updated the Settings > App Control > Actions list to include the document scroll amount if the Document Scroll Up action but not the Document Scroll Down action is added. • Stopped adding an automatic Start marker to lyrics that have a marker before the first line when the first line contains ChordPro chords. • Closed the "reconnecting" message automatically when the Live Sharing function automatically reconnects to a lead device. • Enabled the Save button in picker windows after adding a new item with the + button. • Disabled the Clear Formatting button on formatted text fields when no text is selected. • Hid the renewal button in accounts that have been deleted.

• Fixed a problem where new devices didn't create a new layout automatically when needed. • Updated the Layouts list to allow users with no editing access to add layouts assigned only to them, and to edit the layouts they add. • Updated the Stage Plots list to allow users with Added Data editing access to add a stage plot. • Updated the Recording Controls and Automation Controls layout items to display both lines by default. • Updated the Send SMF Recording function to send All Notes Off messages on all channels if you stop the recording before it reaches the end. • Simplified the default Song List Fields setting to avoid slow page loading. • Fixed the display of smart lists sorted by Rating.

* Added support for multiple tempos within a song. You can enter multiple tempos in the Tempo field, separated by a comma and a space, like "90, 120". You can then long-press the tempo button to select one of those tempos, or select them with the Previous/Next Tempo or Play Tempo 1-10 app control actions, or select them from an automation track. * Added Settings > Advanced > Other > Use New Tempo Looping. This reworks the tempo functionality to play more accurately, especially when flashing the button with no sound, and will eventually allow more subdivision options and better MIDI Beat Clock accuracy. * Added size and position guides while editing layouts and stage plots. When you size an item to match other item sizes, all the matching items will be highlighted. When you move an item into alignment with other items, all the aligned items will be highlighted. When you move an item into equal spacing with aligned items, all the equally spaced items will have lines between them. You can still select groups of items, click the group's Options button and click Apply Average Size, Align Centers or Space Equally. • Added a visual grid when editing layouts. * Added Settings > Appearance > Song List Fields and Settings > Appearance > Field Display Order to control which song fields appear in the Repertoire > Songs list, the set list Edit Songs list, the smart list preview and the song picker window. • Updated the Repertoire > Songs list and the song picker window to show the rating and usage fields whenever they're selected in Settings > Appearance > Song List Fields. Previously, they only showed when sorting by those fields. • Removed labels like "last performed" and "no rating" from the song fields to save space. * Added Settings > Audio & MIDI > MIDI Options > Send SMF Recording Data. If you turn this on, SMF files that you attach to songs will send their data out to other devices to be rendered into audio, instead of rendering into audio within BandHelper. • Added a conflict prompt that appears if you edit an item that was edited on another device and synced to your device while you were editing it. • Updated the Repertoire > All Songs button to select or create a new layout automatically if no layout is selected as the default. • Fixed a problem where a Personal Transpose setting would be applied twice when hiding and showing bracketed chords. • Fixed a problem saving MIDI presets to a song when the Interface Level is set to Simplified. • Fixed a problem with syncing the time signature and rating field selections on the Share Set List and Share Songs pages. • Fixed a crash when using auto-complete on text that contains multi-byte Unicode characters. • Fixed a crash when calling the Next/Previous MIDI Preset or Next/Previous Recording app control actions for a song with no MIDI presets or recordings when Settings > App Control > Wrap Next/Previous Attachments is on.

• Added a Notes button to the Smart Lists list for smart lists that have notes. • Reverted an unintentional change that made functions started by an automation track stop when the automation track reached its End event. • Fixed a crash when sharing a song from its edit page and then editing it. • Enabled the Save button in picker windows when clicking the All or None buttons, and enabled the Continue button in the History picker when selecting history items. • Hid the Export Project Data button from users who aren't administrators.

• Fixed a crash when transposing the Chords field when it contains headings and bar lines. • Stopped showing images in lyrics in the set list view that aren't assigned to the current user. • Added a placeholder image in the lyrics edit field for images that aren't downloaded to the current device. • When resizing a group of layout items, repositioned the items within the group in proportion to their new sizes. • When applying an average size to a group of layout items, ignored the Transpose Toolbar. • Updated the document button to play/pause and show the elapsed time when the current document is a video. • Updated the Increase/Decrease Tempo and Tap Tempo functions to change a currently playing tempo without stopping and restarting it. • Updated the Start Recording app control action to do nothing (instead of pausing the recording) if the recording is already playing. • Updated the Start Automation app control action to resume the automation (instead of doing nothing) if the automation is paused. • Updated the Stop Automation app control action to stop any recording, video, tempo or auto-scroll that was started from the automation track. This is consistent with the behavior of the automation button and the automation controls. • Stopped triggering Song Completion actions while recording or editing an automation track. • Added a Notes field to the smart list edit page. You can view the smart list notes from the main menu shortcuts or from the notes button in the top toolbar of the set list view if that's turned on in your layout. • Added a Date Updated sort option to the list of set lists. Also, updated a set list's Date Updated field when changing any of the set list details, not just the set list songs. • Changed the error message on the event edit page when the Repeat Edits field isn't set to a prompt asking which Repeat Edits option to use. • Updated the event edit page to use the Repeat Edits setting for deletions as well as edits. This means you can delete one of a series of repeating events without deleting the following events. However, deleting the first in a series of repeating events will still delete the entire series regardless of this setting. • Stopped showing events that were cancelled while waiting for your response as action items. • Added an iCalendar URLs section to the Settings > Account Sync page so you can more easily share your events to another calendar app on your mobile device. Also, added a Reset Open URL button that you can use to disable the previous open URL if you have accidentally shared it. • Tagged the login info fields to better connect to password managers. • Disabled the Save button in picker windows until items are selected. • Updated the trigger picker from the Settings > App Control page to allow deselecting a picker that was previously selected but is no longer allowed. • When leaving the Share Songs page for a single song, reselected the song you had been editing. • Updated the Image button above the Lyrics field to show a hint if no JPG images are attached to the song. • Updated the color of document markers to better match the color theme and document inverted settings.

* Added support for drawing annotations onto the Lyrics field. Unlike document annotations, lyrics annotations do not scale if you resize the lyrics text, but they do scroll when you scroll the lyrics text. While editing annotations, you can use a two-fingered drag to scroll the lyrics. • Added a button on the song edit page to add the song to a set list, and added a button on the MIDI preset edit page to add the MIDI preset to a song. • Stopped bypassing the main menu on phones when any repertoire shortcuts are available. • Fixed a problem where the Continue After Count-Off setting didn't work unless Auto-Stop Bars was set. • Changed the Pickup Length setting on the recording edit page to be set in 0.01 instead of 0.1 second increments. • Fixed a problem where the completed song marks didn't update when reordering a set list. • Fixed incorrect sizing of bracketed chord text when the lyrics begin with an embedded image. • Stopped triggering the chord divider line when clicking the area of the document toolbar that overlaps it. • Adjusted the text length on the set list Edit Songs page to avoid overlapping the options buttons. • Updated the sync function to reload the current layout if that layout was edited on another device. • Improved the processing speed of the initial sync when adding an account.

• Stopped showing the main menu in Basic accounts. Clicking a project in the Accounts list will now take you directly to the Repertoire menu since that is the only module available in Basic accounts. Also, removed the Upgrade button from the main menu in Plus accounts. * Added Settings > General > Interface Level. If you set this to Simplified, some less-used options throughout the app interface will be hidden. If you are an account administrator, you can set this for the other users in your account, but they can change it back to Full if they wish. * Added an All Songs button to the top of the Repertoire menu. This shows all active songs sorted by Title, which was previously available from the default Active Songs smart list. If your account also has an Active Songs smart list in the main menu shortcuts, you can keep it, remove it from the shortcuts by turning off its Favorite setting, or delete it and just use the All Songs button instead. ! Combined the set list view's Edit Song and Edit Layout buttons into a single Edit button with a pencil icon. * Added an Edit Set List option to the new Edit button in the set list view. You can use this to change the songs or the sequence of songs in a set list without leaving the set list view. ! Combined the set list view's Quick Add and Quick MIDI buttons into a single Search button with tabs to search for songs or MIDI presets. • Added Settings > App Control > Actions > Show/Hide Search Window to show the search window with a screen gesture or remote control device. After you start typing into the search field, you can't hide the search window with a keyboard message because the search field will capture the keyboard input. • Added Settings > Advanced > Open Keyboard for Set List Search, which opens the on-screen keyboard automatically when you click the Search button in the set list view. You can turn this on if you more often enter search text to find a song, or leave it off if you more often scroll through the list to find a song. • Changed the icon for the Random Song button to a "shuffle" icon to make it more distinct from the other buttons. • Changed the icons for the Save Zoom Level and Reset Zoom Level buttons on the document toolbar to a small and large document, since the magnifying glass icon is now used for the Search button. • Removed the Action Items button from the top toolbar for Basic accounts, since they can't access any of the functionality that would generate action items. • Turned off Settings > Appearance > Top Toolbar Buttons > MIDI for new installations by default and for existing installations that don't have any MIDI devices or MIDI input actions. • Added "more" buttons (three dots) to the main menu shortcuts for set lists, smart lists, checklists and stage plots. You can click these to go to the menu for the item, to edit or share it instead of viewing it. • Removed the layout options button from the set list menu to streamline the navigation. You can still change the layout while viewing a set list by clicking the Switch Layout button in the top toolbar, or by navigating to Repertoire > Layouts > [layout name] > Edit Details and clicking Set As Default. • Reordered the settings on the General, App Control and Advanced pages to be more logically grouped. • Hid the Personal Transpose Enharmonics setting on the song edit page unless the Personal Transpose is set. • Changed the Shares heading on the event edit page to be clickable to hide and show the share fields. • Added a hint about to the shortcuts page about marking set lists as favorites if there are no set list shortcuts. • Turned on Settings > Advanced > Use New Swipe Logic for existing installations, to make horizontal swiping in the set list view and calendar view smoother and more intuitive. • Updated multi-line text fields to scroll to the cursor position after pasting text in. • Improved the sorting of items whose names begin with non-Latin characters.

* Added a Favorite setting to layouts. If you set a layout as a favorite, it will display with a star next to its name in the list of layout options when viewing a set list. You can use this to help bandmates select the preferred layout for your band if you have a lot of layouts. Better yet, you can use this temporarily while cleaning up unused layouts, and if you can reduce your list of layouts to just a few, you might not need to highlight the favorites. • Added Settings > Tempo & Pitch > Tempo Options > Continue After Count-Off to leave a tempo playing indefinitely instead of stopping after the Count Off Bars when using the count off function. • Improved the sorting of items whose names begin with non-Latin characters. • Updated the chord recognition to handle chords in parentheses consistently and to handle nested parentheses. • Updated the Pinned to Breaks and Pinned to Pauses settings so that pinned items load on breaks and pauses even if Settings > Advanced > Show Song Buttons On Breaks and Pauses is off. • Updated the song edit page to place new lyrics after any attached documents by default, instead of before attached documents. You can still drag the lyrics to any position relative to the documents after adding them. • Updated the set list view to reload the current layout after syncing in case you edited that layout on a different device. • Updated the annotation function to refresh the layout after adding annotations to an empty document, so the state of any document buttons in the layout will update. • Updated the month values for date filters in smart lists to take a decimal value. For example, you could add a filter "Date Updated greater than .25" to show songs updated within approximately the last week (or .23 to be more precise, since a typical month has 4.28 weeks). • Reduced the transparency in the inactive layers when editing layouts to make aligning objects between layers easier. • Fixed a problem where pinned MIDI presets were sent from the Send MIDI app control action when there are no presets attached directly to the song. • Fixed a problem that made the lyrics/chords divider unclickable when the chords are hidden. • Stopped showing the top toolbar buttons in popup windows on phones.

• Updated the automation track edit page to include pinned documents, recordings and MIDI presets. • Updated the Quick MIDI window to only show MIDI presets assigned to the current user. • Updated the Import Settings function to first clear the local settings, in case some local settings aren't included in the imported file. • Stopped hiding the song list from app control actions in layouts where the song list is not layered on top. • Restored the annotation button to the document toolbar for songs that have no documents or lyrics. You can use this to add annotations to a blank canvas for these songs. • Updated the Roman numerals function to ignore any currently applied transposition. • Updated the back button in the recording controls to go to the previous marker if the recording has markers. • Added an error message if you use the Quick Add button within a smart list to select a song that isn't in the smart list. Also, ignored Settings > Advanced > Insert Duplicate Quick Added Songs in a smart list. • Fixed a problem where the song list sometimes didn't scroll to show a newly selected song when using live sharing or app control. • Fixed a problem with the new swipe logic where the set list view would disappear if your first touch inside the set list view is a two-fingered tap. • Fixed a problem where unsynced local changes would be lost if the app hasn't synced for more than 90 days. • Added an option to the Reset Local Data function to keep unsynced local changes. • Fixed the syncing of the personal sync settings. • Fixed a problem where events spanning multiple dates sometimes didn't sort correctly in the main menu shortcuts. • Fixed a problem where songs with no tags in the current project but tags in other projects didn't appear in a smart list sorted by tag. • Fixed a problem where the default color appeared on the song edit page when project-specific colors and personal colors were both on. • Fixed misaligned sync icons on the Settings pages. • Fixed a crash on the Settings > Account Sync > History page.

• Restored the automatic start of the MIDI engine when sending any MIDI data. • Updated the OSC engine to not start automatically when changing an OSC device's address or port if it was not already running.

• Updated the OSC engine to restart automatically when changing an OSC device's address or port to use the new values. • Fixed a crash when switching between apps or resizing the app window repeatedly from the set list view. • Fixed a problem where the saved text size didn't load into the second column of a two-column lyrics display, causing it to scroll to the wrong position.

* Added support for sending OSC messages to other devices. You can add OSC messages to MIDI presets, which for now are called MIDI/OSC Presets. This allows you to send MIDI and OSC from the same preset, and to use the same nesting and pinning options that have been available for MIDI. Currently, OSC messages can include one argument that's an integer, float or string, but you can send multiple messages with different arguments to the same device if needed. Before setting up OSC messages, you must go to Repertoire > OSC Devices and add a device with its IP address and port number. You can then change the IP address or port number later if needed. • Fixed a problem with the sizing of two-column chords when the chord lines are long enough to require wrapping.

• Added a Size setting to the document edit page to allow setting the size for individual documents. This allows a mixture of Letter and A4 documents in the same account. If this isn't set, documents will use the size from Settings > General > Defaults > Document Size as before. • Fixed a problem that prevented removing a MIDI continuous controller trigger from an app control action. • Restored the handling of bank numbers when using incoming MIDI to select songs. • Restored the Portuguese translation.
