The Treatment Protocols are medical direction to prehospital personnel in San Joaquin County, CA that is based on current emergency medicine standards of care. Their adoption constitutes a significant change to the delivery of prehospital care in the San Joaquin County EMS system. The new Treatment Protocols are formatted for ease of use and quick reference for prehospital personnel. The mobile application is intended to provide mobile and convenient access to the Treatment Protocols for San Joaquin County accredited paramedics and is not a general-purpose first aid guide.
