It amplify and clarify speech, ambient sounds from microphone, and playback through headphones or bluetooth speakers. With AppHearing everyone - even those with mild to moderate hearing loss - can enjoy a completely personalized listening and hearing experience. It works as advertised and it is free. It is a good quality app. The developer’s email address is not working now, but in the past the developer was responsive to feedback.

It’s a nice app, but can’t get it to play thro my camera apps. Which is the reason I originally wanted the app in the first place. I’m still searching for a good app that will amplify the sound of my camera apps, if anyone knows of any that might help I’d be most grateful. Thanks

Huge latency issue! What you hear is delayed about 30 milliseconds and makes a very distracting echo with the original sounds. If you’re watching tv with someone else, it’s just not worth the aggravation. This one’s worth the purchase price but not much more.
