Daily Wallpaper HD 4+

I recently bought a 2020 Macbook AIr after being a Windows user my whole life, over 20 years. The one thing I missed about Windows was the automatic destktop wallpaper feature. This app fill in the gap almost perfectly.

The only issue that I have is that the app icon doesn't show in my top icon bar when I turn my computer off and then back on. I thought it would stay there permantly that way I could just click on the icon to refresh the daily wallpaper. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

Lastly, why is there no accompanying iPhone app? I would like my iPhone wallpaper to be the same as my Macbook. Please consider making an iPhone/iPad app.

I truly enjoy this app. I am one who likes to change my wallpaper on my phone and computer daily so this app makes it easy to do so. I love the photos I have had as well.

The app properly changes the background and downloads a picture from Bing... but fails to update all virtual desktops automatically.

What's worse is that while the app does re-download wallpapers daily, it seems to reuse the same local file -- so macOS (Catalina) doesn't notice that the image changed and the background doesn't change (even when clicking Refresh in the drop-down menu).
