iPhone

HKeMeter is a new mobile application introduced by the Transport Department. It provides real-time occupancy information of metered parking spaces so as to facilitate motorists in finding vacant on-street parking spaces. Motorists could also pay the parking fee remotely with multiple payment means through the app. The key features of HKeMeter includes: 1. Real-time metered parking spaces information 2. Remote payment for parking time with multiple electronic payment means 3. Notification to users before expiry of parking time

As this is a Transport Department app, please also add the locations of other accessible car parks to your maps. Meters are often preferable but having a proper map of ALL parking options will cut down on illegal parking.

The app is nice but often does not connect to the meter even though the payment is made on the credit card. I was charged multiple times even though I would get an error message that the app could mot connect to the meter.
