Sadly, this app was shut down since the owners were slowly draining their money because of it. They couldn’t keep the app up and running due to this issue, so the officially shut it down. I have been a user of the app for awhile and must say that it was rather fun to use it. It was basically just TikTok for gamers. Along with that, it had a rewards system where you could obtain an app currency by completing quests, which could then be spent on rewards in their digital shop. It’s sad to see such a great app go, but all good things must eventually come to an end. Freshcut, sometime 3 years ago - July 29, 2024.Rest In Peace.
This app went downhill before it even hit its stride.

I got into Freshcut from the Smash Ultimate scene posting clips on the app. The ability to join communities for games and have a tiktok-like experience of watching clips is an incredible idea. The ideas weren’t fully fleshed out though, the search function made it really hard to look up different types of clips for specific games (for example, specific character clips for different fighting games.) I was really excited to see how they could grow the app and make it the best it could be. Now, the app is entirely for Roblox! There’s no longer communities for any other game, aside from other games geared toward the roblox age group - Minecraft and Geometry Dash. As I’m branching out into other fighting games, I would’ve loved to use this app as a means to explore characters and clips and get excited about the games I like, but unfortunately I don’t get the option anymore. If you like Roblox, you might like Freshcut. If you don’t? Sorry, you’re out of luck.
I love love love love it

This is literally a tiktok for esports and I love it! The app is very easy to use and so clean looking! I really love the playlist covers because of how eye catching they are! This app delivers such quality content. its so nice being able to watch all the best highlights without having to watch such long videos and it’s awesome being able to discover so many new creators I had no idea about. I used to try to find gaming content on tiktok which is sparse so it’s nice to know that I no longer need to ever do that! Overall it’s a well made app and you can tell a lot of time has been put into it.
Rest in peace

Hello if the creators, see this all I want to say is bring back the app it’s the only place I post and think I have a chance in life with my views and likes, I love this place with the nicest community but yall should make a fundraiser and team up or collab with other apps it helps a lot I just made a edit for yall when I saw this and I’m scared titok will rost me. This company should keep going so ppl who see this help them with a 5 star and let’s try to get a new app bc they are loosing money at there finger tips rest in peace fresh cut
