A graphing calculator app that supports function/polar/parametric graphing, equation solving, and comprehensive statistical analysis.
The graphing calculator provides a UI similar to a real 84 graphing calculator.
◉ Graphing Calculator
- Supports function, polar, and parametric graphs.
- Press MODE and select Graph mode, then press Y= to open the graph editor. Press GRAPH to draw the functions.
- Interactive and manual tracing modes.
- Shows intersections, roots, and extrema (local maxima and minima) of function graphs.
- Shows derivatives of function graphs.
- Shows tangents to function and polar graphs.
- Best‑fit line for a set of points.
- TABLE generates a table of values for the selected graph.
- CALC computes min, max, d/dx, and integrals of the selected graph.
◉ Scientific Calculator
- Includes a computer algebra system for symbolic calculation.
- Supports all functions of real 83 and 84 graphing calculators.
- All basic and advanced math functions: complex numbers, probability, angles, relational operations, logic operations, and matrix and vector operations.
- Users can define custom calculator functions.
◉ Equation Solver (press ALPHA ENTER to open the SOLVER menu)
- Solves any equation with Auto Solver mode and can provide symbolic roots.
- Solves quadratic, cubic, quartic, and quintic equations.
- Solves systems of equations with up to 5 variables.
◉ Statistics
- 1‑Var Stats: calculates 1‑variable statistics.
- 2‑Var Stats: calculates 2‑variable statistics.
- LinReg(ax+b): fits a linear model to data.
- QuadReg: fits a quadratic model to data.
- CubicReg: fits a cubic model to data.
- QuartReg: fits a quartic model to data.
- LinReg(a+bx): fits a linear model to data.
- LnReg: fits a logarithmic model to data.
- ExpReg: fits an exponential model to data.
◉ Inferential Statistics and Distributions
- Z‑Test, T‑Test, 2‑SampZTest, 2‑SampTTest, 1‑PropZTest, 2‑PropZTest, Z‑Interval, T‑Interval, 2‑SampZInt, 2‑SampTInt, 1‑PropZInt, 2‑PropZInt, Chi‑square Test, Chi‑square GOF Test, 2‑SampFTest, LinRegTTest, LinRegTInt, ANOVA.

Just like the real thing, and I have two Ti-84 calculators. I’m only giving ‘5’ stars because I do believe it could use some polishing up to ‘appear’ like the real thing, and I do believe that the creators of this app might be surprised at how many more apps they would ‘sell’. I always ‘purchase’ to get rid of ads, which are totally annoying. You would sell FAR more if you gave your buttons more ‘depth’, with dark tiny spacing to define the button away from its frame; the way it is, currently, is way too duo-dimensional. Add more depth and shadowing to where the cosmetics are more realistic and I would wager that your sales would increase to where people would pay for your product more than just wanting the ‘free’ version. Regardless, this is an excellent app - I purchased the ‘Lifetime’ upgrade!
This is great 🤩

Out of what I know it lets me do almost everything on a normal expensive graphing calculator, but for free. Some things are locked unless I think until u buy the premium. But barely anything is locked. There are all of the buttons on a normal graphing calculator. You can click the same buttons to get the same outcome like a normal calculator. This makes it very less complicated than other calculator apps. Although, during some tests I am not allowed to use a phone which makes sense. I can only use a real calculator. That’s the one thing that I cannot use it for.
Annoying pop ups requesting reviews, no help/instructions and operations changes between ti84

Overall this calculator works pretty well. However are no instructions on how to use it, so if you're familiar with a TI84 for instance, you can figure it out but its not identicial in operation. There is a 'help' section but if you click it, it says there is nothing there. Also the app continues to do a pop up asking for a 5 star review, so I'm leaving a 2 star as a result. I paid money for this app, I'm not going to be bugged about reviews after paying money. One minor issue is the alpha button's color does not match the alpha button key options above the keys. This is usually matching. My overall review is yes this app works, it'll get the job done, but if you want a computer version of the TI84, look elsewhere as some of the commands within this are complicated and there is no guidance.Calculator unable to handle equation 14!/(3!11!). Gives the error message "error: syntax error" . Whereas my portable regular TI84 calculator can handle the problem without issue.
Beware serious bugs

I have been generally impressed with the capability of this calculator, and it is my "go to" calculator for vector operations. However, it has some serious and unexpected bugs. Some polar-rectangular conversions have unexplainable errors using particular angle values, and some list functions provide grossly wrong answers (wrong sign, wrong magnitude).Update: The author responded with a work-around for the polar conversion issue. The multiplication of lists still gives unexpected results
Developer Response
Hi, I fixed it in the latest update.
Thanks for using Calc84! In this update, we are excited to introduce Math OCR, a new feature that allows you to input mathematical expressions using your device's camera or photos. Simply snap a picture of a handwritten or printed equation, and Calc84 will recognize and convert it into editable text for you to work with. We hope you find Math OCR helpful and look forward to your feedback!
