Many years ago I was in my work place break room reading paperback book(Star Trek series). One of my co-worker who was a very educated teacher ask me why I was reading my book, she said she knew I was dyslexic but could figure out why I was reading a paperback. I told her because air enjoy reading. Okay, even though I am dyslexic I enjoy reading. Now I’m not as good as a non dyslexics, but I enjoy reading. It’s the one ability I wish I could do better. To improve my reading ability. I have been to a dyslexic doctor, yes there was one in Great Neck NY in the mid mid 80’s . He prescribed me motion sickness medication. I found out shorty after taking some motion sickness medication that I’m allergic to it. Bummer. I tried colored lens. Look up scotopic sensitivity syndrome. Honestly, I didn’t see a specialist about this treatment. I just played around with some colored lens, blue ones. I think it helped, but I just looked silly with blue tined glasses. Now this dyslexic fonts, I think this is a big win, but not everyone has dyslexic fonts that are available on there fonts apps, so I’m still testing honestly.

A font I can read!!!!! I wish I knew I was dyslexic when I was a child! I believe it would have changed my life. My parents were big readers. I noticed I had a hard time reading when I was 4-5. It wasn’t until I saw this font in OPEN Dyslexia I realized I was dyslexic all my life!!! I’m 55 years old. I did very well despite dyslexia. But I can only image if I had been diagnosed earlier I would understand why I had such a difficult time reading! Thank you soooooo much!!!! 💕
Why are you trying to capitalize off of people with disabilities?

I bought this app because I am dyslexic and am struggling because of it. The first thing I noticed is I have to pay to be able to read, and comprehend information the first time. The main thing I wanted to use it for, I have to pay another $6 dollars for it to work! That is so frustrating because I turned to this app for help and all it is trying to do is exploit me. Even if it does end up working it is not user friendly 3 of the buttons in the app work, and 2 of them lead to another app of theirs they want you to buy. If you are going make an app to help people it should work, especially if they paid for it.
Reading Again!

So far loving this font. I discovered this by accident last week and it’s life changing. I can engage in my passion for reading again which I have been avoiding for the last year or so because it became more difficult to do. Thank you!
