I love merge games. This is the best one I've seen so far. It's relaxing to play and it's possible to proceed without spending a lot of money, although spending money speeds thing up considerably. This game, unlike many I've seen, doesn't send you away from your main island to progress. It lacks the most annoying feature of those games, the timed quests, which make it nearly impossible for anyone with a movement disorder to get past the higher levels. For that alone, I give this game 5 stars, but it's also deserving of 5 stars for the graphics and general game play. I hope the developers continue to make more merge games. They've taken the best of merge games, and dropped the worst, to make the best game I've found. I'm rarely a fan of developers, even if I love a game, because even the best tend to have something about the game that's annoying. Kudos to the developers for making a game that I can't think of a single thing to complain about, even minimally. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll play any new merge games you develop.

I play a lot of merge games, and this one has some really excellent features. Instead of stages, it has temporary islands which are contiguous with the main playing space which is a clever idea and makes bubbling a breeze. The events are not too difficult and can be finished in a couple of days without spending any extra money although the game very aggressively encourages you to do so. It would be nicer if a second creature was available sooner. The “magnet” is a great feature and saves a lot of sorting time. On the down side, the wonders, of which there are many, are woefully stingy compared to other comparable games. The creatures are way too large and clunky and constantly get in your way. The home map is way too small, and the amount of land you can open with creature power is super stingy, and almost all the wonders take a ridiculous number of merge stages to create. All other merge games let you increase power and gold (or gems or stones, etc.) at a much faster rate, and have much larger pay outs. Wonder Merge forces you to go to 10 levels instead of 9, and then the reward is a third of what it would be in other games. This game is EXTREMELY slow going as a result, and therefore very difficult to get excited about. Plus the artwork is quite cruder and inferior to most of the other games. It gets 3 stars for some clever innovations and a certain addictive quality.

Honestly, I would give a 4 and a half stars if I could. This is one of the best or at least the best merge game I’ve come across. I know some people may dislike it because it doesn’t have this sorta progressive story feel as some other merge games have. But with its intricate floating islands, the feeling of growth and having to use your brain somewhat for clearing space or get good merges. But what I find especially amazing is how you aren’t pressured to buy anything! Every other merge game always makes things so frustrating and seemingly nudging you to buy gems or whatever. Merge magic does not do that, you actually feel like you can acquire gems, you can acquire pearls, you can acquire coins (although they seem to be more annoying to collect in comparison which I actually like). I love that so much, it feels incredibly refreshing in comparison to so many god forbid App Store games who try to pressure you into it or shove billions of ads down your throat. Merge magic is a game I pretty much play religiously, but right now the problem I have is suddenly it’s not starting up. Every time I try to load it, it’s just a grey screen and then if I wait long enough it just crashes or well closes itself out. I’ve tried restarting my device and it still doesn’t work either. I really love participating in the events but I’m worried I may miss out on progressing because of this sudden out of no where issue. Either way, I love this game and the dev team is all around incredibly responsive and absolutely wonderful! I suggest people to play regardless of my issue as I am typing this, as the game is something to just kick back and just do as you please.

I’ve had this game for 5 months and loving how I can play for hours and not have to wait on anything other then the island. I love that I don’t have to go to another area to clear the islands and that it’s at the same place where all my creatures are at! Love that I don’t have to worry about the coins and pearls getting to full and it keeps going up that’s what I like..
