This hotfix release addresses a number of small issues identified following the rollout of the new Native Instant Book experience, helping to improve navigation, booking management, and overall usability.

This update fixes an issue that could cause no available events to be displayed for booking.

This update includes fixes for several minor bugs and general improvements to enhance the app’s stability and performance.

This update adds support for Vectare transport journeys in SchoolsBuddy calendars. Journeys managed in Vectare are shown as read-only events in registers, with links for staff and parents to view and manage details directly in Vectare. Transport journeys sync nightly and display a last-synced timestamp. We’ve also improved phone links in the Guardians section so iPad users can view phone numbers when tapped.

An issue has been resolved where new users logging into the mobile app for the first time could be presented with an incorrect view if they had not previously logged in via the website. The app now correctly initialises the user experience on first login, ensuring new users see the appropriate content and functionality immediately, without requiring prior access through the web platform.

With this update, the mobile app homepage now respects a new system setting for fee display. If a school has opted to hide fee information for parents and students, you will no longer see fee balances displayed on the home screen.

Multi-Day Transport Requests You can now request transport changes across multiple days — right from the app! Clearer Event Details Event times now appear next to locations at both the top and bottom of the page, so key info is always easy to find. Better Map Links Map links now show for Home and Away locations, helping parents and students get directions for schools with large campuses or sister sites.

Our app’s had a glow-up!  It now sports the sleek new Faria look — with a fresh splash screen, updated store branding, and a colourful new login experience.  We’ve also added a handy school selector and refreshed our default colours to vibrant Plum and Yellow for a little extra pop.
