Now imagine encountering this while sitting at home on your couch. That’s the experience Grand Canyon Conservancy is bringing to audiences worldwide through a free app called TimeLooper.
The app will bring viewers to scenic viewpoints, historic buildings, the Colorado River, and exhilarating inner-canyon trails, all on the screens of their iPhones and iPads. Watch the introductory video to learn how to scan an area and use the app, and then visit areas like Bright Angel Trail, Mather Point, El Tovar Hotel, Kolb Studio, and more while learning about the history, culture, and wildlife of our grandest of national parks.
Grand Canyon Conservancy is the official nonprofit partner of Grand Canyon National Park, raising private funds, operating retail shops within the park, and providing premier guided educational programs about the natural and cultural history of the region. Our supporters fund projects including trails and historic building preservation, educational programs for the public, and the protection of wildlife and their natural habitat.
