AssetLook: 3D Asset Viewer

DAE, glTF & 3MF Converter

$34.99

Open 3D models on iPhone and iPad. Inspect scenes, explore materials and view your models in augmented reality on compatible devices. AssetLook opens complete 3D scenes and individual meshes on iPhone and iPad. Hierarchies, materials, textures, cameras, lights, skinning and animations stay available in a single viewer. Open models from the Files app, including iCloud Drive, and explore them with touch controls. COLLADA (DAE) DAE is kept as a complete scene instead of being reduced to a mesh. COLLADA hierarchies, external textures, materials, cameras, lights, skinning and animations remain available for inspection. ZAE and KMZ packages are supported, including DAE content from BeamNG, SketchUp and older Blender projects. EXPLORE YOUR SCENES Orbit, pan, zoom and frame your model. Browse the scene hierarchy, show or hide nodes, inspect cameras and materials, adjust preview lighting, and switch between wireframe and material X-Ray views. The interface adapts to portrait and landscape on iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo. MATERIALS, CAMERAS AND LIGHTING Inspect the materials used by your scene, including colors, textures, opacity and PBR inputs such as metallic and roughness. Use material previews to examine how a surface responds to light. Browse the scene’s cameras and inspect their settings. Adjust preview lighting, environment, exposure and tone mapping while viewing your model. These preview controls stay separate from the lights and cameras authored in the scene, so you can inspect the asset under different viewing conditions. VIEW IN AR Place a model on a real-world surface on a compatible iPhone or iPad. Drag to move it, pinch to resize it and rotate with two fingers. FILES AND FOLDER ACCESS Open glTF, GLB, COLLADA/DAE, OBJ, PLY, STL, 3MF, ZAE, KMZ and ZIP packages containing a supported model. For files with external textures or buffers, choose their containing folder once so AssetLook can read related files. Recent files are optional and can be cleared in Settings. Choose Light, Dark or System appearance in Settings. Keep a recent-file list if it helps your workflow, or turn it off and clear it at any time. Folder access is used to read the selected 3D files and their related resources. AssetLook processes models on your device, does not collect data, and requires no account.
