Absolutely immense game

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review for a mobile game before but oh my god does this deserve all the positive feedback it gets. The art and graphics are breathtaking and extremely high quality quality for mobile. The main gameplay is interactive and super enjoyable. Being able to move around the investigation scenes adds so much depth. The plot is always engaging and the cases do increase in difficulty as you progress :) I love the addition of being able to interact with characters outside of the main story and just hang out n play mini games with them. Their banter always makes me laugh and being able to get glimpses of their background makes it worthwhile. There are several independent mini games as well, on top of seasonal events. Each of them have multiple levels and challenges. Honestly the mini games alone could serve as their own apps. It’s insane how much content is in this app and it’s still baffling to me that 1. it’s free to play; this is a game I would absolutely pay money for & 2. That it’s a mobile game. It seriously has the quality and depth to be mistaken as a pc game. To anyone who enjoyed Ace Attorney, Danganronpa, or any other problem-solving or mystery game, I guarantee you’ll love this game as well. The loss of storage space is worth it, I promise lol

Good game, just some slight issues

So i’ve been playing this game since I believe May and let me tell you, it’s a great game! It has a good plot line and I like how the romance is like a side plot line and doesn’t interfere with the whole detective aspect of the game. The only reason why this game doesn’t get 5 stars is because of the Events, and the fact this game isn’t really f2p friendly. Like yes, you don’t NEED to pay money to play. But when you use up all your energy, you either use the s-chips that you’ve been saving for weeks or you use actual money to restore it all. There is an option to use these bottle things but you only get two per day. Along with that, the wishing system isn’t that good tbh. You’re expected to constantly grind or pay money. Now, I play genshin and grinding is fun and all but when you don’t have the acquired power, you can’t do much until the next day. And with the events, you have to spend WAY to much time on it. Like the event rn??? You have to wait 7 hours… 16 times. THATS OVER 100 HOURS. AND THE EVENT ENDS SOON. ITS RIDICULOUS. And the events never even last that long! They’re like 7-5 days while in their other games the events last for two weeks to a d*mn month. This game is more cash grabby than both Genshin and Star Rail combined. And also, once the third anniversary cards come out. every single f2p player is screwed. So, my advice to anyone who sees this: If you have a lot of money to spend and wanna play this game, go right ahead and have fun. But to people who don’t spend money on games, good luck trying to get cards 🫡

Amazing game, but there’s a bug

However there’s a small bug that’s been happening lately. It’s nothing that’s been making me avoid the game but is still annoying. On episodes three and four there have been some battles where you’ll have one or two turns left but the battle will end anyway saying it’s irrefutable. It gets a annoying when I can tell those two turns would’ve given me a win. I hope the devs fix whatever issue this is, it’s the only bug I’ve ran into and so far it’s only been in episode 3 and 4, I haven’t gone past 4 yet so I can’t tell if it’s in the future episodes.

To be honest when I first played it I was so confused as to what was happening that I almost stopped playing. I’m glad I continued and gave it a chance because now after a few days of playing, I understand more of what’s going on and how to navigate and really enjoy this game. The graphics and music are beautiful and I love that the characters have voiceovers. It’d be nice if they also had an option for English but regardless it’s a nice touch and how you can opt out of the voices if you don’t want them. My own suggestions that I would really like the game to have more of is that it would be so nice if you had more interactive choices in the stories. Also if the stories were more interwoven with the characters like you get to choose which characters to romance because currently it feels like the romance is isolated and it’s not as fun that way. For instance, I just want to romance Artem but when I play certain episodes with the other characters it romances them also which I don’t really want. Also, it would be cool if we could have a couple of options for the main character to be able to play. She looks really young to me and I’d like to be able to play a character that fits my style more. One of my favorite features about the game is the call and texts and phone. I would love it they made it so you can actually call the characters or text them on your own initiative and have some sort of response chat for that, that would really take the game to a whole other level. I gave four stars because while I am really enjoying it there is just so much untapped potential that would make this game even more amazing!
