Pass the FE exam with EnginPrep, the FE prep platform built by an engineer who’s been through it. Practice on your phone, review on your laptop, and keep every bit of progress with one account on enginprep.com and this app.
Start free, no sign-up required: three new FE problems every day with complete worked solutions, for both Civil and Mechanical.
FREE DAILY PROBLEM SET
A fresh set of three exam-style problems each day, the same set on the website and in the app. Work them, check your answer, and read the full solution.
FULL ACCESS INCLUDES
Quick Practice
Choose your topics and work through hundreds of problems written to the NCEES exam specification. Every problem has a step-by-step solution, and figures zoom so you can read every dimension.
Content Review
A lesson for every topic on the Civil and Mechanical FE specs, with practice problems you can regenerate for new numbers until the method sticks.
Exam Mode
Timed mock exams that mirror the real FE: topic weighting from the NCEES spec, a full-length 110-question exam or a shorter session, breaks, and no feedback until you finish. Then a score breakdown by topic so you know exactly where you stand.
Weak Spot Drills
The app tracks your accuracy by topic and builds a drill from your lowest-scoring areas. Spend your study time where it counts.
Progress Tracking
See accuracy by topic, sessions over time, and your daily streak — synced with the website so you can study anywhere.

Overall the app is simple and easy to use. You can watch ads to get access to PDFs and quizzes instead of paying like countless other FE prep apps which is nice. However, it would be nice if there was a lot more content, and more advanced content. Most of the content is targeted towards Civil, which works for me, but I wouldn’t recommend using this app alone to study for any FE. There is still some good content though and it’s a nice refresher.
Too many “correct” answers are wrong.

The app is very easy to use and can be a great study tool. I like the quizzes and I like to see which ones I get wrong. Unfortunately there’s been a handful of questions I’ve gotten wrong, but their “correct” answers aren’t actually correct. I’ve had professors double check my work and they always just tell me “they (the app) must be wrong.”There’s also a ton of typos. Normally that’s not a huge deal, but when you combine that with the fact that some of their answers are incorrect, I can’t trust the validity of their content. They need to hire a new QA analyst. It’s worth going over as a free option but do not pay money for the premium version. And take everything with a grain of salt if you happen to get it “wrong”.
Other Engineering Disciplines

When will topics from electrical engineering be added? Is there a PE version in the works?
Paywall
Mr_Warlock
This app is a pay to use app that is listed as free. I installed this app thinking it might be a nice, free to use app to brush up on types of engineering, and unfortunately found that every single resource, other than the flash cards, is locked behind a premium paywall. Not even a single lesson or quiz is free. In my opinion, this should have been listed with a price tag instead of tricking you into believing it’s free. Let us know what we’re getting into. Other than that major issue it seems to be a great app as far as I can piece together from other reviews. Not that I would know because everything is locked behind premium……
