Le logiciel iSyslatPro2 est un utilitaire professionnel destiné à enregistrer des informations sur les fouilles archéologiques gérées sous système Syslat. Il s’agit d’un outil complémentaire du logiciel Syslat-Terminal qui permet d'accéder avec un iPhone ou un iPad aux bases de données Syslat préalablement implantées sur les serveurs d'Huma-Num ou sur tout autre serveur. Il est également possible d'importer des bases de données depuis le serveur pour les consulter ou les modifier en configuration locale (y compris hors connexion).
iSyslatPro2 permet notamment :
- de consulter, d’ajouter ou de corriger des fiches
- de prendre des photographies de fouille ou des croquis et de les envoyer sur le serveur
- d’éditer des tableaux et des listing et éventuellement les partager
Il permet également de consulter trois dictionnaires de référence : le premier pour les céramiques méditerranéennes (DICOCER), le second pour les monnaies pré-augustéennes du Midi de la France (DICOMON), le troisième pour les autres objets de l'âge du Fer du Midi (DICOBJ).
Le logiciel fonctionne aussi bien en Wifi qu’en 3G/4G. Huit fichiers sont actuellement implantés dans iSyslatPro2: les fichiers US, FAIT et ENS pour la gestion du terrain, PHOTO et DOC pour la gestion de la documentation photographique et graphique, MOBI, CER et TYPOCER pour la gestion du mobilier archéologique.
