Shop has grown. See what your clubs sell as tiles, discounts from your own clubs first, and events near you. The member price is now clearly marked, with the normal price struck through next to it. You can also buy straight from a club's page. Search is faster, finds what you mean even with a typo, and shows people again at the bottom.

Meet Shop. Swipe sideways from your wallet to see what your clubs sell, with your member price right next to the normal price. Add several things to your cart and pay for them all at once. Events from your clubs now sit at the bottom of Shop, and the calendar has left the top bar. We've also fixed a handful of smaller things.

Buying a ticket together with a membership? You can now answer the organiser’s required questions before paying. If a payment is still being confirmed, checkout shows its status and helps you return to your original purchase. You can also correct a mistyped email address while waiting for verification. Didn't get the email to confirm your address? You can now get a new link straight from the home screen, and we'll tell you where to look. You can now remove your profile photo. And we've fixed a handful of smaller things.

Events that are only for certain students or members now tell you exactly what's missing, with one button to sort it. Connect your school with UNI-Login, become a member or sign in, and you're in. You can now put the photo from your passport on your Happenings ID. Hold your passport to your phone and the photo is checked straight from the chip. Festivals have their own place on Explore and in the calendar, with the programme for each day. Descriptions now show bold text, lists and links the way the organiser wrote them. And signing out now signs you out properly. Categories sit at the top of Explore, and we've fixed a handful of smaller things.

Welcome to the new Happenings. We've rebuilt the app from the ground up so everything that's yours lives in your wallet. Tickets, student card, memberships and coupons are all in one place, and what you need right now is always at the top. The calendar is bigger and smarter. You can filter, see what's on tonight, and it keeps itself up to date. Pages and events open faster and show everything, polls included. And the map can now fill the whole screen, so you can see what's happening around you. Chat translation takes up less room, and we've fixed a batch of bugs, including voice messages that could close the app. Enjoy, and let us know if anything feels off.

The Today tab now shows your pages, even with location turned off. The Near me map loads faster, with filters and a quick way to switch city. A new Deals page, with a shortcut right on Today. Stories open the page they come from and show how far along you are. When an organiser hides how many tickets are left, the app keeps it hidden. Event links you share are short and easy to read, and older links to restricted events open again. Plus better accessibility, fixes and improvements throughout.

The map near you now shows the places around you wherever you are, not only at home. Your student card and Happenings ID show a code that verifies at the door. The crawl live activity speaks your language. Spanish is more complete. Small fixes.

Invite people straight to a crawl instead of hoping they find the link. Friday bars, the map near you and the festival map now open a card you can flick away. Big festivals open fast. Tap your profile photo to change it. Pay with ViaBill wherever Apple Pay is offered. A free event no longer offers to sell you a ticket, and a waitlisted RSVP says so.

Friday bars have a map, and you can plan a crawl right on it. Give it a name, see who is open, and share the route with everyone coming. Quick events now appear in Today, so something happening in an hour reaches people while there is still time to go. A forum can belong to a field of study, so you land among the people on your course rather than the whole school. Claiming your page lets you attach the paperwork in the app instead of sending it back and forth by email. A free ticket now says get ticket rather than buy, the programme opens, and pins on the festival map are tappable. Photos survive a network that drops out, and renewing a membership works again.

Voice notes work now. Holding the microphone could close the app before recording even started. That is fixed. Photos from your events stay on Today instead of being pushed off the page by everything else going on. Your own profile has editing and settings where you would expect them, and if adding a friend fails you get told, instead of nothing happening.

Voice messages are here. Hold the microphone, say it, let go. Your message is written out on your own phone, so it can be read in a lecture instead of listened to. Photos from your events now show up in Today, your forums are grouped by degree and year, and you can share straight into a conversation in the app instead of going out through a text. Buying a ticket no longer stops at the last step, and events for your school say which school and let you connect right there.

Ready for the new semester. Checkout is faster and you can pay the way you want. Your wallet shows only what's valid right now, and invitations take you all the way. Plus polish across the whole app.

Today opens the moment you do. The feed is ready before you are, and it keeps loading ahead while you scroll, so there is nothing to wait for. You can see who is actually going. Friends who joined a page or said they are coming now show up by name on the activity that matters. Near me is back, with chips for the places around you and a map that groups things more sensibly. Near me now opens where you are. The map centres on you and shows what's actually on nearby, instead of a general list. Upgrading from the old Happenings app? You stay signed in. We also only ask about notifications once you're holding a ticket — so it's about something you actually care about.
