Notification Issues

The notifications don't work - or there is no notification function at all. I want my phone to notify me with certain planetary shifts and that option isn't available. There's an area where notifications can be setup, but there are no push notification options at all. Otherwise, cool app!

Notifications do work — they're part of premium. In Settingsyou'll find toggles for per-planetary-hour alerts (Venus,Mercury, and so on), Moon Phases, Zodiac Changes (the Moonentering a new sign), and Void of Course. If they aren'tfiring after subscribing, also check that notifications areallowed for the app in iOS Settings.You're right that we don't yet have alerts for "planets"entering new signs (Sun, Mercury, Venus, etc.) — it'ssomething we're planning to add. For retrograde alertsspecifically, we have a separate app: Planetary Retrogrades.Our recent 2.04 update (it seems you are using 2.03) brings void-of-course into the UpcomingEvents timeline, a richer per-eclipse detail view, and abetter Moon tab and also better notifications. Fantastic widget with start and end time plus a countdown timer which I find essential. Plus it notifies you by pop up and vocally says the planet at the beginning of the hour. The layout of the app itself is admirable and intuitive.

• Choose your zodiac system — Tropical (Western) or Sidereal (Lahiri). Your choice applies everywhere: the Moon, planets, eclipses, Void of Course, and widgets. • Choose your Void of Course method — Traditional (the seven classical planets) or Modern (including Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto). • Both live in Settings, and the active system is labelled on screen whenever it isn't the default — so a sidereal chart is never mistaken for a tropical one. • Fixed a case where the notification settings could show a stale alert count after turning the last one off. • Bug fixes Four new home screen widgets: • Planetary Day — current planetary hour with a live ring, upcoming hours, and the day's ruler • Planetary Day & Moon — your hours with a moon phase, Void of Course, and the next major phase • Moon Almanac — phase, sign, Void of Course and the next four lunar phases at a glance • Eclipses — upcoming eclipses with type, zodiac sign, and visibility from your location Every moon widget now runs on the same full-precision engine the main app uses, so the data on your home screen matches the app exactly.
